It's like something great was done and the physics have to be understood to know just exactly what was this great thing that was done.
I heard the force of energy observed was measured in the trillions of an electron volt. I think it was 7T.

@AnotherBrotherMark I think t5239 is referring to their original plans, which they failed to achieve in 2008. They will be shutting down operation in 2011 for an upgrade to allow the LHC to accelerate to 7TeV per beam, 14TeV collision energy.
