@Sitti2300 I can tell just from the outside that there is quite a bit more time spent just on the exterior of the US version. The exterior of the US version has about 20% of it polished aluminum. Polishing 20% of a 747 is a big difference. I don't even like polishing all 4 wheels on my car because of the time it takes. While I haven't been on the Japanese version, I have been fortunate enough to be on Air Force One and it is the finest airplane I have ever boarded, and that is saying a lot.

Japan never released the interior picture of their plane. The specs of both heavily customized planes are top secret. So there is no basis for comparison and way of knowing which is better in what way.

Well, actually we can only compare by exterior design. I prefer the looks of US Airforce One. Japanese one looks a bit too plain.

@v12tommy No the Japanese military consists of the JASDF (Japan Air Self-Defense Force), JGSDF (Japan Ground Self-Defense Force), and JMSDF (Japan Maratime Self-Defense Force). If the Japanese government wishes to take offensive action against any nation they must first get authorization from the United Nations.

The tittle says Japanese Air Force One.

The number one is usually reserved for the plane that the president or prime minister uses in most countries.

(laughing with delight) So, Japanese Air Force One has touched down... and it happened to pass by a 'Pokémon'-themed All Nippon Airways 747. Maybe the Emperor of Japan couldn't help smiling at such a sight. I will definitely enjoy getting a chance to see both planes if I ever get a chance to visit Japan.
