THIS IS SAD THE FIRST PART. I HAVE A GREYHOUND A 9 YEAR OLD ONE LOVE HIS WHITE FACE AND ALL THE SILLY STUFF HE WILL DO DAY TO DAY. HE IS THE BEST DOG, WHY HURT SOME ONE SO LOVING AND CARING. i don't know how people can treat these beautiful dogs so appalingly. i have a greyhound and they are the most wonderful, loyal, loving dogs and i will always provide a home for them

this is such a wonderful video, ive been a foster mom from greyhounds for just 4 years now and i believe they are the best breed out there if people would just give them a chance. i will never be without at least 3 of my own in my house. i will love them all till the day i die.

Return to Innocence. Perfect. As a person owned by a lovely little fawn greyhound named Gracie, and a greyhound/lab mix named Gordon, to be able to give them the opportunity to have a warm couch to sleep on is MY privilege. I'm so lucky to have them. <3

my wife and i work with a rescue group, compassion for greyhounds, and we are proudly owned by perky, chippy, and chloe, as well as larrydog and miss kansas who are in heaven awaiting us. a very touching video, i must say. our chippy had a rough life in foster care before being returned to innocence as well, and he has just blossomed! i can't imagine these precious souls not being in my life.

give me a break! there is no evidence that any of these dogs EVER raced? this is a one sided video. any dog can get sick, or emaciated. This has nothing to do with racing. Greyhounds were BORN and BREAD to do one thing on this earth... RACE. If it wasnt for racing, these dogs wouldnt exsist. Its a shame, all you voters did is take money away from the state of MASS and give it to R.I. have fun with that heart attack, when the ambulance takes an extra 10 mins to your house = budget cuts.

The 'yes' vote to ban greyhound racing was won purely on public opinion - public opinion that considered greyhound racing 'inhumane'. Get used to it because it will be the first state of many to do just that and rightly so.

seriously, how insulated are you? it is common knowledge how badly greyhounds are treated after racing. they are animals that need protecting, if the industry wasn't so hell bent on profit, the welfare of these dogs might matter more, but as it is, they don't care for them. I will ever advocate something that treats ANY living thing like this.

i have worked with greyhounds,they are the most loving dog breed ive known and you seem to think they are treated like tools.we take care of them and they race if they didnt race we couldnt afford to keep them ,we love to see them run its a privilege not a right!. i think your comments are misguided and i really dont think your experianced enough to comment on the matter.

I own 2 former racers. I believe there is a place for greyhound racing as long as it is closely regulated. All adoptable dogs should be required to be offered for adoption after their racing career. There should also be closer oversight as to the conditions that the dogs are kept in during their time at the track.

The time has come to abolish Greyhound racing. It is beyond comprehension that since Greyhound racing has been around approximately ONE MILLION GREYHOUNDS HAVE BEEN KILLED. It is horribly ironic how one of Earth's most elegant, gentle, noble creatures has been subject to such abuse, torture and exploitation. I know cruelty happens and try to help as much as possible by having my own greyhound and walking as many as I can. I would love to have more but its too difficult to find someone who will look after more than one whilst I am at work. People who treat them cruelly should be locked away for years!

I train Greyhounds for living & keep my own as well and i must say i am disgusted & embarrassed of the conditions of those dogs it sickens me to think that people can do this to such a loyal & great dog or any dog for that matter.I like 99% of greyhound owners look after my dogs extremly well they get the best of everything food bedding care etc remember it is just a minority who carry on this way & shouldnt be allowed have a goldfish never mind a dog.So please dont tar us all with the one brush

Greyhoundmad......are you disgusted and embarrased with the fact that for every greyhound puppy bred another one will be culled because it wont chase or perform or that everytime you race your dogs you expose them to the risk of serious injury or death?

It doesnt matter how well you or any other trainer treats their dogs, you perpetuate the abuse and slaughter of 1000's of greyhounds every year by supporting this corrupt and exploitive industry. Consider yourself tarred!

I found your comment worth noting for you some up the facts not the horror side of any racing code for i have a grey at home that was on death row at 1.5years old now nearly 5.

if people get passed the horror side that might find people like yourself who care for the animal not just throw them away like a broken toy.

Anyone can say they love an animal but when an animal chooses there owner then it is for the rest of there life.

Fabulous! What a great video. I own a 3 year old ex racing greyhound. I absolutely adore her. She has come so far since we first picked her up from the rescue centre and I am so proud of the way she has adapted to her new, free life.

As with all stray dogs, a greyhound seems to sense it has been saved and repays that with so much devotion and affection.

They truly are a miracle, despite suffering so much abuse to still be able to give so much love.
