The moths comment is in response to a joke Alistair McGowan made about him before Eddie was on. Alistair was commenting how good it would be if Eddie was the voice over for those nature programmes

Re: the 'moths' comment. Isn't the joke that he isn't wearing a dress or other women's clothing? He comes out in jeans and a sport jacket and says: "Moths", meaning, moths got into his closet. No?
