I *hated* this phone. hatehatehatehate!! The touchscreen isn't very responsive and the phone itself is slow, so when you pound your finger on the screen multiple times to get it to respond, you'll find texts much more frustrating to send. swype was a great update, if the phone were able to track my finger properly.

finally dropped it one day and the glass shattered, would've been $120 to repair but I got a cheap blackberry instead. much better.

Battery sucks. I have to charge mine every night or it WILL DIE. I got mine through t-mobil for free after my behold I messed up. It takes forever to power up sometimes. Other than that, it's a good phone.

It really doesn't. But, that's because I don't need a phone that can launch nuclear missiles, or one transform into optimus prime. I just want a phone that can do basic things, and a few other neat things. And for me, this phone is that. I will say, Samsung made a mistake in overlaying TouchWiz onto Android. Other than that (and not being able to use anything above Android 1.6), this phone is good, and in reality, does NOT suck. It's called "different strokes for different folks"

Do you even know what you're talking about? Hardware is the internal specs like processor speed (RAM), internal memory etc. What you're referring to is the form factor. I've had both the original Behold and Behold II and it's not even a comparison. The Behold II is by far better, the only thing plastic is the back cover, the front of the phone has a nice brush metal finish and it's very solid ... Have phone with your dumb phone (feature phone - but u probably don't even know what that is)

the screen is amazingly beautiful with the images, but it isn't very touch sensitive :/

@whyhellopeople yes, I went to the tmobile store today (lost the first behold model this afternoon, silly me) and pretty much all of their phones priced higher than the comeback (which is a crap phone) required a data plan. the data plan is an extra $30 per month PER PHONE, so it's probably not something to get for the whole family.
