It's not that Korean movies are perfect , but they definitely make more interesting movies w/ original plots and are so unpredictable at times it makes Kosher Hollywood look like a used porn store .

OLDBOY is one of the most original , disturbing and surprising movies ever made and Man From Nowhere , I SAW the DEVIL both GREAT movies .

@franz909 Very True. When I watched Old Boy, even though I don't love the film, it one of the singular most beautiful and compelling films I have ever seen. I say I don't love it, because sometimes the film is suppose to make you disturbed. At least I think it is. With some reservations for certain audiences I really do recommend it. There a great many films coming from Korea as of late and IMO they're taking the international audiences by storm.

i don't know what it is about south korean movies, but i haven't seen a bad one to date. they are such great film makers.

old boy is one of the most tragic and disturbing yet most intriguing movies i've ever seen. hope this one's just as good. thanks

@neroxero Don't think they are perfect filmmakers. Here in the U.S we only get the best of the best Korean films and foreign. There are hundreds of terrible films being made in Korea as well as around the world just like Hollywood. No one is perfect.

I watched this again just a few days ago, should have checked here first - the subtitles are much clearer. Tremendous film, although not quite as good as OldBoy it deserves the same amount of attention, unfortunately it is overshadowed.
