You are my hero for posting this. There's so many damn complicated tutorials out and around for trying to get sound to work, yours is so simple and straight to the point I almost feel stupid for not figuring it out myself. Thank you, good sir.
@141ahmed141 it means that your first person controller is below your terrain. First make sure you have a terrain, and that your player is above it completely. Next make sure your first person controller has a rigid body attached.
@BattleLegion Not sure if I'm too late but you can use the function Destroy(gameObject). Place this in the TriggerScript after the "audio.PlayOneShot(audio)", and if it works it should destroy the cube after playing the sound. Not tested, though.
@Brandiumx - When you add the sound just leave the 3D sound button on and thats it. Once your playe gets close the sound will appear. For ambient music or water/fire sounds use a looping music sound and check the "loop" button in the inspector panel.
thank u so much for this i really needed help , i have a question though ...how do i make just like ambient sound for like a river i walk up to or a fire so u just hear that noise while your in the radius of the item. I would rly appreciate the help.

How do you make it so that when you hit the box it disappears and you still hear the sound?

Fantastic! Simple and clear. Shame that there's only 72 views.
