It is still Islam. When the planes hit the twin towers, no American Islams denounced it publicly. I do not differetiate between moderate Islams like yourself and Osama Bin Laden or Taliban types. Islam is a petrification of ideas. These ideas were appropriate at a certain point of history, in order to combat alcoholism, rampid fornication, and corruption. but now have become antiquainted. It's a martial law mentality after the need for law has passed.

I support the victims and thier families. I keep vigil and would offer to assist a victim. I would report the crime, I would kill an assailent caught in the act. I would ridicule and shun anybody who thought that rape was o.k. I would write congressmen and report to the media if this crime was treated with a blind eye. So why is this not so in Islamic countries ? answer !! You are really exposed here, sir.

I think this was your next question.There are federal laws concerning the use of deadly force when a persons well being is threatened. There are state laws as well, especially in TEXAS. Afaghanistan used to be a thriving, modern country in the 60's before the ideas of Taliban Isalm imprisoned it and destryed it. That is the point, It is a misguided religion. Muslims don't follow the Qu'ran. IT is bent and twisted according to the will of the people in power. The Qu'ran has wonderful ideas just like Christianity, but beheadings for adultry ( CBS 60 minutes) are not a good thing. Christianity can be bent and twisted but the end result is so much less violent and extreme than killing hundreds of innocent school children in Russia or flying planes into a civillian buliding .

That is the point, a misguided religion. They flew those planes on 911 to kill innocents, in the name of ALLAH, in the name of Islam.
