It it just me, or does Django look an awful lot like Dorado Schmitt (or the other way around, I suppose)? By the way, I find that when I smoke pot, I am smarter, more intuitive, a deeper thinker and infinitely more creative...until it wears off and reality sets in again. Crap. Oh well. It's a fun delusion for a few hours.
Thanks for repeating the myth that you can magically play better just by doing drugs. Now, I'm not denying that a lot of early Jazz musicians did drugs, I just think it's ridiculous to say it's what made them play great.
@kingjaron123 You're right. It just goes with the personality type, or something like that. Playing jazz and smoking grass are both because of the personality of the player, but they have nothing to do with each other.
@soulleskill You have no idea what you are talking about. Talk to any of the Greats in any field- even the psychedelics like Bob Dylan and the Beatles- all of them agree that trying to write music while high produces trash. I've even listened to many a recording of them all high, and it was some of the saddest, unintelligible drivel I've heard. You are a fool.
@Kaleestraza Probably due to them mucking about with acid. I think most of these guys probably enjoyed a bit of mild grass from time to time. And a whisky or two.
do you know who's the violin player? Grappelli?

@WeekendMedSchool most likely, Jazz musicians back in the day smoked grass to help with their music, they smoked and thought of grate music!

Thanks! You're very welcome. You should buy the record "Nuages" from which the song was extracted. It really is a genius record.
