  • This is the reason why I feel unhappy not to be living on these times !! Music these days sucks :)

  • TRANSCENDENT PERFORMANCE

  • the instrumental section at 2:03: sublime chord changes

  • Is that Steve Howe o Peter Banks on guitar?

  • @CircleCityEric It's Banks.

  • @mybrawling Thanks.

  • 4:08 lyrics are we all KNOW, not NO! epic fail

  • 3:38 peter banks what was that!

  • The strings on the studio version are so overbearing. Seeing it live and stripped down is refreshing.

  • Very cool to see this early line up.Yes!!

  • the guitarist is Peter Banks

  • 2:28---> whoa!

  • wicked bass and drums here!

  • WHy do I have to watch a fucking 15 second COX commercial first??!!!!!!!

  • That"s Great.!.I meant the movie promo. with the cat.

  • That"s Great.!.

  • Richie Havens "mastered" this song. While not a strong Havens follower, this one work is among my desert island favorites.

  • The doors???????

  • jon anderson, rick wakeman, steve howe, peter banks, chris squire

  • Looking back, it's clear that Kaye & Banks' days were numbered from the start. Bruford & Squire just hit the ground running and Anderson's voice was astonishing on the early stuff. Banks developed into a tight & funky guitarist but his work on Yes was vile! But this song just totally moves along - Bill Bruford isn't giving anyone a chance to slack. Definately music from a different age. Hard to imagine Coldplay galvanising themselves into action like this

  • Bruford always is impressive, but in this song is an insane inspired.

  • Geeezh, just proves that Chris Squire tore it up right from the start of the band's existence. Nice piece that they could (and probably did) extend into a good jam.

  • Now not that this will be of interest to everybody but Yes played at the Strand one friday night and so did the strawbs with Rick Wakeman on organ, the lead guitarist of the strawbs launched into a guitar solo only to have his amp shit itself at maximum prejudice, Rick Wakeman entertained the crowd for ten minutes with solo stuff and I think but I can't say for sure that that was the night Rick impressed them so much that they offed Tony Kaye and took up Wakeman, any other intelligence on this

  • @powellallan Hey ! That was of interest !

  • ...yes!

  • ¡Increíble grupo, magnífica canción! (Incredible band, magnificent song!)

  • I'm surprised they didn't get sued in their early days.

  • @borgduck why?

  • who's the guitarist here? That's not Steve Howe?

  • @skankspankr Peter Banks; he played on the first two albums and then was replace by Steve Howe.

  • @skankspankr Procolharum1967 is right. Peter Banks didn't like the orchestral arrangements on the second album "Time and a word" and left the band in 1970. He was replaced by Steve Howe. Your myBeatclub-Team.

  • @myBeatclub ...peter banks left and delivered three fantastic albums with flash then.

  • @skankspankr

Peter Banks. He was the original guitarist.

  • Just another reminder of what once was, and how far we have fallen since! Where are the young people that can rock like this nowadays and still be completely innovative. Not even the "good" bands of today can manage what is witnessed here!

  • @MattHatter The whole "music scene" needs to come back. Great FM stations, music stores (imagine that, stores that just sold music!), the great producers, engineers, musicians, etc. "Music" today is just rushed out the door as fast as possible following the guidelines of the greedy, lame, untalented, music executive.

Even wedding bands are gone now. That was always a great place for musicians to get together and learn. There is also not many clubs with live bands like there was.

  • @VeganWTF So true. And so sad. I'm sure all the Baby Boomers would have been horrified if they could have seen into the future and what was to become of music for young people. I'm 34 years old and I started rejecting my generation's music when I was all of 9 years old in the summer of 1986! I went for the music my mother grew up with and never looked back! And it NEVER stops rewarding me. As for me, I'm planning on leaving Los Angeles and moving to Austin, TX.

  • vera musica...e che ritmooooooooo questa è musica ^_^ grazieeeeeeeee

  • One of THE best LIVE Beat-Club performances i've seen, along with MC5....just brilliant....!!!

  • Dang! EVERY video I've seen of Peter Banks he ROCKS... too bad he pissed off so many of his Yes compadres... a tremendous talent - Jon and him should regroup.

  • Great band.

    *****
