That's a shame...that cake looks delicious and seems relatively easy to make. Don't get me wrong, I love Alton Brown, but sometimes his recipes just look like big complicated affairs that will make your kitchen into a mess. Thanks for the tip, you saved me a few bucks and a few thousand calories. :-)

Bees scare the pants off me. Having never been stung, I have built the fear of it to monumental proportions.

A regular honey bee sting doesn't hurt that much. Recently I was stung by a Cicada Killer Wasp(run a search on Wikipedia, a 2 inch long bee) and I honestly barely felt it. It really depends on the type and purpose of the bee you are stung by.

An ant bite I also recently received nearly had me on my knees. I wasn't able to ID the culprit though, sadly. Camping is dangerous!

I've been stung by wasps twice, once on the back of the neck. The neck one hurt like heck. So wasps/yellow jackets and I are not on friendly terms.
