I try and always catch all of stantons at bats, he has some of the best opposite field power I have ever seen , im only 26 but I could compare him to vladimir guerrero back when vlad was an expo when vlad had tremendous opposite field power, but stantons homeruns are towering drives that carry crazy far, go fish.
Good thing that Jerry Sands is starting to pan out for the Dodgers this season or else I would've NEVER forgiven Logan White for passing over this bonafide stud in the late first round of the '07 draft in favor of a pus-throwing college southpaw who's no longer in their system (James Adkins). His rationale at the time was that he didn't think his swing would translate to success at the ML level. Bah...
What brand baseball bat did Stanton use on that home run. I loved the crack of the bat, I'm a Braves fun but this kid is gonna be a more dangerous Gary Sheffield if this kid keeps his strike outs down to his walk ratio. He can make Adam Dunn look like an idiot if he draws more walks, strikes out less, and hits for a ton of power. Marlins need to lock him up for at least five years.
@JCSCougar The brand is called monstrous strength. You can get some from your parents or they have it in gyms too. Seriously though, I think it sounds like that because he crushes the ball, not because of the bat.
Has that ball landed yet?
