  • music of the god's,for the god's...:-)

we miss you jason and marty...we miss you cacophony:-(..but you're still a glowing beacon for us guitar mortals..

    1:00-1:04.....bonerrrrrrrrrrrr

  • music of the god's,for the god's...:-)

we miss you jason and marty...we miss you cacophony:-(..but you're still a glowing beacon for us guitar mortals..

  • i think we all miss jason very much =( marty too

  • his music is beautiful.

  • 106 people proof that dislike button should remove form this vid

    :P

  • marty = guitar god

    jason = guitar god

    marty + jason = ?

  • @Megadeth72 CACOPHONY!!!!!!!!! it's better than god, jesus, the beatles all that crap.

I have their first record it's awsome!!!!

  • @pipopower12 hey beatles is also god specially harrisson and john so shut up both are genius!

  • @Megadeth72 : the answer would be lots of guitars..not even gods can get to that level :P

  • @Megadeth72 marty + jason= cacophony

  • @Megadeth72 titans?

  • melodias dulces! es lo que caracteriza a jason con marty !

  • the pic of marty matches this song so good!

  • Marty def misses jason becker. You can tell. Jason was martys best jamming partner.

  • comenzo muy bien..despues quedo feo cuand entro la guitarra con distorcion...

  • I asked Marty about this track when I went to one of his guitar clinics a few years ago. The parts that don't really sound like Marty are intentionally played that way because he was trying to emulate Jason's style.

  • i think marty's has changed a lot, but i still prefering his works at cacophony whit his magical carvin v220

you guys will agree whit me if u watch his jam session whit becker

  • That's definitely Marty. I can picture him doing his jaw movement while listening to it. Great tribute to Jason

  • Yer man 2:20 was just tears on guitar. Incredible feeling he put into this

  • Esta version de marty empieza en el minuto 2:04.

  • Marty NEVER sold out, he's a guitar god. A living legend, because his life went to Japan and he left megadeth doesnt mean he sold out. He LOVES playing guitar, he lives for it. He always has. He never sold out, he just went away from Metal that's all. You should all bow to the god that is Marty Friedman.

  • @Nunez87 youre right, he loves his music and guitar, he plays what he wants, not for money or to be soll-out. He just loves his music.

  • @Nunez87 megadeth are shit anyway!

  • @Nunez87

thx for such words! its fucking true bro, exactly as im thinking ;]

  • hey hey relax this song is original to Jason Becker, the version of jason becker is most amazing!!! Becker is god!!!

  • Marty and Jason wrote it together. Marty wrote this after Jason became ill. It's a tribute.

  • beautyful

  • wonderful...!

  • He is the man that made me switch to 10 - 52 in 1992. The sound, the BENDS the attitude, the emotion. And Dragon'kiss still playing on my sono. Marty, thank you.

  • this is shear genius

  • great

  • I think the fact that he's now playing what he wants to play and not just playing what his fans want is pretty admirable.

  • were you even into marty at that time. You probarly first heard him in year 2005 or so

  • why does it matter what he wears? or if he plays jpop or not... i dont get it.

  • Sold out? He's not famous for playing Japanese pop. That argument works for Metallica, not Marty.

  • He's actually more famous for his japaneese stuff now. His albums are selling there, hes going on tours. He was popular with megadeth but most people dont even know who he is.

  • Nonetheless, sell out would be a misnomer for Marty. He's doing what he likes, if that's what someone is doing, then they are not selling out.

  • Exactly. There's two definitions of a sellout when it comes to music. 1. You're changing your sound for the fame and only the fame, or 2. You're whoring out your name wherever you can to make as much money as possible. Anyone who thinks Marty sold out, watch him play and tell me he doesn't absolutely love what he's doing. Whether you like his new approach or not, you can't deny he loves what he's doing and so it'd be inaccurate to call him a sellout. He did it for himself, not the money.

  • hes fuckin sweet, he did get kinda wierd when he got into all the Japan shit, hes awesome though, better tthan ill ever be

  • he's just having fun, his albums aren't jpop :)

  • Dude, I guess you haven't heard his latest two solo albums. They are freaking heavy and solos all over the place.

    -Arroyo-

  • martys solo albums beat megadeth all the way

  • no it don't

  • yes it does

  • Marty is amazing.

  • Its sad, cuz in the beginning you know your missing a guitar part... It feels empty. In the original there was just 2 guitars, not one. I guess marty wanted to show us that.

  • exactly.

  • What album is this 2nd version from?

  • as you mentioned the original is better, but this is a tribute after Becker suffered his sick, its the reason why the guitar sound so sad.

  • amazing tribute too

  • es re bueno pero el original mejor

  • beautiful

  • aunq prefiero el original pero esta muy bueno este

  • que chevere

  • thx suchar for this!!

  • Just a beautiful tribute

  • this is a george winston's cover. Really beautiful song

  • Good luck in Burma or Indonesia, or wherever the hell you are Marty.

  • Amazing!

  • oh yeah this is all Improvised too, thats what marty was best at

  • Marty Friedman And Jason Becker Are

    Two Guitar Legends

  • perfect song~

  • The original version is way bettre

  • Agreed.

  • i like this way better... just me opinion

  • soul touching...

  • dudes, i love marty friedman,

pure skill and pure beauty in his music, guitar genius

  • yes, becker has his soul, but Marty is kind of different.....

  • Pure genius, fantastic, unbelievable, BRAVO

  • so beatiful i ever heared

    prefect!

  • this is absolutely beautiful...it brought tears to my eyes...makes me miss Jason Becker even more...thank you Marty

  • Don't tell me Jason Becker has no soul in his music... There were a lot of guitarists faster and more accurate than Jason but the great feeling is what made him so fameous. Of course Marty is a genious as well, no doubt about it.

  • Jason definitely has soul in his music, yet a different kind...

  • they should make him a billion dollar man, with mechanical arms so he can play again with his thought movement from his awesome mind.

  • ahahhahaha

    agreed

  • Jason has so much feeling than Yngwie. He didn't needed increase the speed to get more feeling(if you play can understand me)If Jason could play now,I bet my life he don't would have some person with his talent.Martin you know how much we need Becker.Today don't exist nobody who make feel the sensation of the music. Yngwie rejected my requirement when I asked him if he can give me a sign to my guitar that says "Jason more than a prodigy".Doing tribute for my entire life to Jason.I leave you

  • what!?!?!?

    yngwie did that?

    tell us more

  • yngwie didn't do it?

then he is not a great musician

  • This song is so sad without the other guitar. So sad without Becker. I think this is a great tribute to Becker, I feel what that freedman says with every note. He says Becker is not here, but he is in our hearts and is the place where you can hear his guitar.

  • most incredible guitarist ever, jason becker

  • wow.... does anyone know where i can get the tab of this ? :S id play it by ear if i were good but..... wow i reli want the tab of this exact song T.T......

  • I'm working on thats.

  • Hey =D really... if you get something done and could send me please,, I'd REALLY appreciate it :S KEEP UP.. <3

  • wow! I really love this song! Original is better though...

Where did you get this? is it on one of marty's cd's?

  • Did Becker ever play this? Where can I find the original?

  • The original is on The Rasberry Jams by Jason Becker... it's apparently some jam of Becker and Friedman from their time together in Cacophony

  • Cheers :-)

  • beautiful this song makes me so sad sometimes =/ i do like the original with becker better though

  • is this black stallion??...chord progression n lead part is lil bit similar......anyway this is also good...i miss becker part!

  • thanks i'm gonna learn jason parts to jam with marty friedman lol :)

  • this is a 2002 version? is there another person playing with Marty?

  • No, he plays alone

  • its obviously marty if you've listened to his other works

  • @soapywater yes its on jason becker raspberry jams

  • gracias por la version .. genial

  • I think he was aiming for a 50s love song feel with this song, kind of like "Lovesorrow."

  • Interesting, the way i always saw it as a kind of dude ranch song. Probably hence the name Black Stallion

  • beautiful

  • thanks for jason becker give as the happyness of listening his geniality!!!

    thanks man

  • sounds like santana

  • hermozo

  • Muy emotiva y hermosa.

    Jason Becker no merece menos.

  • Hell yeah!

  • awesome
