The secret mission is just like the secret mission for Schwann (AKA Raven). When Alexei goes on overlimit, try to get away before he does his mystic arte. After his mystic arte, spam with Yuri's Azure Storm.

getting the secret mission isnt the problem i have with this fight, the fight itself apears to be impossible for me

every time i get him below 50000 hp he does this unavoidable whirlpool like arte followed by his mystic arte, killing everyone in one go

On the lower difficulties it's too easy to defeat him before he becomes tired from using his mystic arte. He needs to use it at least three times before you can down him but there is an item that will help with this. If you have an all-divide not only will it protect your party from some of the damage of his arte but it will reduce your damage against him by the same amount. The battle will then last longer giving him more time to get tired out.

This guy is too easy for me, but he NEVER gets tired after a mystic arte no matter how many times he does his MA (Up to 7 MA's in one battle and nothing -_- ) And I get raped if I hold back and set everyone to defend :(

you can also tell when to strike by looking at his sword color, the best time would be when it turns red, after 3-4 mystic artes, i think

what i found easy is using rita to stand away from him during his mystic arte then over limiting and using tidal wave straight away

for the people having trouble with this mission try this:

1) use yuri, estelle, raven, and judith

2) if your characters are very strong (like inflict more than 1500 damage) equip them with weak weapons

3) Make sure alexei uses his mystic arte three times

4) right after his 3rd mystic arte, use x to get up, if you have fallen, then (make sure you are close to him) hit him.

*every time he used his mystic arte he got more tired- look at the video and look how many times he use his mystic arte.

hmm this is a tad bit more complicated then schwann )raven's( only cuz raven only did his arte like twice or once.....and alexei does it at least 4x before the achievement can be gotten (in other words dont let his hp get too low or uh yeah no dice xP) idk about easy mode either cuz im speakin from normal or hard mode (havent gotten to unknown or others as of yet)

I beat him today after like 4 trys. On Unknown I had got the secret mission and everything and just pulled off a 160 hit combo with Yuri.That left him with 72k then he owned me in the face w/ his MA.
