Wow, thanks John, she got the moves. Just watching Ebloissante very feminine walk in another video. Then she was getting into her moves at the end of this video. I think you got another dancer there John!!!! Weeeeeeeeeee
Thanks to our traditional Southern California "June gloom," this video has a Monet-like feeling. There are so many new horses! They are all exquisite, but a few in particular captured my eye: the stunning chestnut in segment 2---stage presence! Silent Poetry---love both her and her name. And speaking of poetry, there are unwritten verses in Ebby's graceful hooves. May her life's poem be a joyful one. She is blossoming beautifully. Joy you give, and joy may you have! Thank you for this.
Thank you for sharing another workout video!! It gives me a chance to try to learn more about the horses before they go to a race and all I can find out about them is a number. I appreciate this very much and it is so much fun to watch as the young ones learn their task. Thank you!
Mr. Shirreffs, thank you as always for doing this for us and All You do. They all look so good. Ebloissante is beautiful and has many gesture, expressions and DANCE moves that remind me of Zenyatta....but it is something about her stride and way she runs that most put me in mind of Queen-Z. You must be thrilled. The future looks so bright for you and Barn-55....What Joy! :))).....
Early morning at the track...birds are singing, sun trying to defeat the light fog, riding athlete superstars the most beautiful horses, fun and smalltalk with your teammembers, the best wakeupcall...
@run4derbymadness: I love Eblouissante too, but the spelling of her name drove me to distraction! Here is my formula for remembering: first EB (short for "Ebby"); then LOUIS; then SANTE. If one pictures LOUIS being "hugged" by EB and SANTE, it works---or not. Wait until the track announcers start rolling around this moniker! Perhaps a pre-race call to the booth would be an excellent idea. After a long period of famine, these recent videos are a virtual feast. No more space to say more!
So much appreciate all the videos you put up here for us all to view. Love seeing Eblousante (spelt wrong sorry) she reminds me so much of Zenyatta. Miss Zenyatta more than ever. But truly enjoy the others. Keep on coming with the videos and I will always watch with excitement. Thankyou
Love & Blessings Always! LouAnn Cingel from Union, Missouri
Thank you for posting these. I still miss seeing Zenyatta in them -I sure a lot of us do- but I still enjoy seeing all your pretty trainees. Good luck with them!
Mr. Sherriffs, I must say that you have a really nice crop of horses this year (beside my regular favorites). I always put a WPS (at least) on all of your entries, and have been very lucky doing so. Thanks for the post (was that Eblouissante dancing at the end?)
In the horse world, "dancing" is a widely accepted synonym for "prancing". There is no need to be a troll and correct someone like this when she has said nothing wrong. Did she offend you in any way? Are you trying to make fun of her, by saying that you've never seen a horse tango? That was very uncalled for, and you're doing your ego no favors by posting comments like that on YouTube.
When Zenyatta was in training people would squeal as she extended her legs a little farther than others they shouted like dumbfounded school girls she was doing a dance. It was annoying, considering it was a natural and common thing horses do. Now anytime says that a horse is dancing I correct them. Calm your tits.
I know about Zenyatta's "dance", and I understand the overkill of the word. However, I am merely pointing out that disliking the use of a word by someone else is no reason to correct them as though they were wrong, when in actual fact the word was being used correctly. My tits are calm. Yours were a bit disgruntled before though, and it showed.
Well aren't you smug as a button? I never intended to come off as bitter from that comment, just saying my own definitions of dancing and prancing which IMO are two very different words. Dancers dance, Horse prance. Can't get anymore blatant than that.
@queenluciaa I know I'm probably going to get chewed out for butting in, but you do come across as bitter when you go on videos of Zenyatta or anything Zenyatta related and start complaining about something that people say about her. Why complain about something that obviously upsets you when you can do something that makes you happy? Unless complaining and making others upset somehow makes you happy.
@queenluciaa Having had horses and mules for most of my life, I am quite aware that they can't dance as humans do. But, they can dance in their own way. Call it what you want--I will call it 'dancing' Sorry if my wording offended you.

Bless her as she develops. She is with the best.

Horses don't dance, they prance. I've never seen a horse tango, and never will. Eblouissante was prancing.
