  • schöner sound

  • why so quick in the second gear?

i thought the first one goes to 100 kmh?

  • Audi? For rings for homo....

  • @kappricek 5 speed manual - auto only 4

  • mint, fuckin mint

  • MAAAN What a sound! :)

  • I should take the Audi S8. A year ago i bought an Audi S8 (2000) above the 850.

Because the 850 is way more expansive with the big V12. I think still the Audi S8 is faster then the BMW 850CSI. Both legends.

  • Wow. Love it.... love BMW... love my life :)

  • lol look at how smooth it is

  • WOW!!!I FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE CAR!!IT WAS LIKE A JET READY TO TAKE OFF!!GREAT VIDEO..GREAT CAR-)

  • good start

  • Is this a BMW 8 with a manual gearbox? I always thought they had auto-gearboxes...

  • @retetikker 850CSI had only manual gearboxes, automats were in 840 and 850CI :)

  • @libik666 Not everyone, there was also common 850i with 6 speed the same like in the 850csi. But there are few of them now.

  • @retetikker Automatic was optional, most of the 8 series got delivered with Automatic :)

  • feels like im in the car!! reminds me of when i had my 3 series took up to 150

  • @PeacefulVocalTrance MPH not kph

  • @PeacefulVocalTrance HMMMM 200kph = ONLY 124MPH!!!

  • my 840 really needs to get the catalytic converter taken out (idk if i spelled right but idc) frkn america decides they want to be different.. :(

  • funny how a skyline is about the same price range and can do 0-300kmh in "19.55 seconds" lol

  • This is the legend!! Someone would kill to drive this engineering masterpiece.

  • why is this car so underrated? its good looking, good handling, very fast and you can buy them at a reasonable cost. Just listen to that engine how could you get bored of that

  • @23chilled

I think that´s because most of the people doesn´t know these cars. Just a few petrol-heads know this great legend. And people who discover this car think that it is unreliable and very expensive to mantain... It is not a cheap car to run, but it is very reliable and if you take some care of it, it will last forever!!

Great cars these 8 series, I personally love them in so many ways: looks, handling, reliability and comfort. I´m getting an E31 soon. =)

  • @E34Benzin i believe you. Just feel rather out of my league with a car with a V6 petrol not V12. Bit like going to a party with 150 guests confirmed and only 75 show up. Mind for the price could of had crap and smaller engine. Either want me a 850 csi or Audi S8. I want the S8 first though. Quattro i have a soft spot for. BMW is more of a car to drive around the world in

  • @23chilled

They are very different cars, both good but different. The S8 can be a fun car to drive, but it´s more classic and not as exclusive as the csi. The 8 series is unique and the looks are impressive!

I would go for the BMW, but the Audi is also a great car!!

  • @luteusopala - The 8 Series was ended 10 years ago, so obviously the currently most powerful engine is in the 7 Series (F01/F02 760i - 537 hp and 750i - 402 hp). Back in the days the most powerful 8 Series (E31 850CSi) had 380 hp and the most powerful 7 Series (E38 750i) 322 hp. I don't know about Brazil, but the people behind the website 8coupe.com can probably help you with your question.

  • The engine sound is music to a gearhead's ears.

  • Awesome!

  • But your 1.8 turbo is probably not 15 years old, doesn't weigh nearly two tonnes, and isn't a luxury GT coupé equipped with every comfort option thinkable in those days :)

  • Now now, what else could you expect from a Honda jockey?

  • @reyan00 Yeah and the 1.8 turbo sound shit compared to the magical sound of the 850.

  • @reyan00 I have a 1.8T. It's a great engine bot it doesn't compare to this in terms of power, sound, feel. The V8's and V12s are in a superior league no doubt about that!

  • My I ask what you own?

  • i agree with him, and i would much rather have an 850 than ur piece of shit, and before you ask what i own, id be careful...

it would blow ur 1.8 turbo off the road

  • DimitriChristo666, I could go even faster than you with a 600CC Turbo engine, or even a naturally aspirated 1.3 liter, in the form of a Hayabusa.

But would I have the comfort and style of a BMW? Nope.

  • @DimitriChristo666 your might be faster with the acceleration with your 1.8 turbo, but now lets race from 200-290 let's see who wins, you will be a spot in the distance and try to race my 12 year old vette, 0-100 in 4.9 sec 0-200 in 16.9 and top speed of 290 on the gps i doubt you will win with your 1.8 lol

  • @DimitriChristo666 your car is nothing compared to the 850...see in 15 years if anyone gives a shit about your blown 4potter.

  • 6,8 secs 0 - 62 mph and top speed 256 km/h, not bad !

  • @velhonen how about 300 km/h top speed

  • @rogierveireman Yeah modified or chipped. Speedo says 300. But its not going that quick. =)

  • Yeeeah :D

  • damn fast!

  • Monster

  • nice sound

  • This is not a CI, it's a CSI. S70 MOTOR

  • wow

  • DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks so smooth... but then again that older b12 engine did amazing things

  • i used to own one, amazin looking car that went very very well also rare as hens teeth!

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
