The world at large may be changed but the MUSIC world is run by dinosaurs who believe that suing their customers is a better business model than giving their customers content WORTH paying for. Just like the giant asteroid that crashed to Earth and ushered in the Age of Mammals, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and others want to clear out the old world order to make room for whatever is to come next.
