he's english, so that means he's been legal for 2 years. TWO. YEARS. 2 years of being silly and carefree and having fun, and now he's completely tied down. a kid! a wife who's interests, hobbies, goals, dreams & ideas of a happy life are radically different due to her age. he's in the prime of his life, but he'll never get to experience it. it just makes me feel terribly sorry for him, but more so for the child. bcoz they WILL get divorced. it cannot work. and the kid will be the one to suffer.

...now that is a more acceptable age gap. if, when she were, say, 18 years old, and he was 25, he came out and said "i'm dating my director's daughter," that would be 100% fine. and that's a scary fact. one i hope she has considered.
and then there's 4: just the sheer sadness of it. he is now TWENTY YEARS OLD. i am almost 20 myself, and honestly i don't feel like i've done much in my life. and that's okay, bcoz i'm young. i can be silly. i can go out, go crazy, meet people & have fun in my 20s

3. she was his director on nowhere boy. he was the star. in effect, she was his boss & he, her employer. i know some will argue this fact but really, it's true. that movie was her project. and she was a part of the process of hiring an actor to do the job of playing john lennon. that is a business transaction. it's a working relationship. she crossed a definite line starting up something with him. not to mention the fact that she already has 2 children, 1 of whom is only 7yrs younger than aaron

2: the baby thing. it's completely outrageous. just because you're in your 40s doesn't mean you can't still get pregnant, sam. it's called a condom. since you're old enough to be his MOTHER (yes mother. she could have had him at 23), you should be responsible enough to use protection. especially when the guy you're raping (i mean having consentual sex with, ew) is only 19! that is way to young to have a kid. he hasn't even lived yet. she'll turn him into a 40yr old man b4 he's even had his 21st.

when i watch this, i actually vomit in my mouth a little. there are so many things wrong about this situation, where to start?
1. the age gap: 23 years. seriously. i can't speak for anyone else, but for me i feel that 5-10 years is the maximum acceptable age gap between two people in a relationship. and honestly, even that's pushing it. i know it's just a number blah blah blah, but if i met a guy even 10 years older than me, i don't think i'd go there.
