  • Thanks Doc!

  • Doctors don't really want to hear from you between appointments. You have to make an appointment which takes 7 - 14 days. They don't get paid to talk on the phone.

  • Why did i get this?

  • This DR is the best i love you channel !!

  • I agree with your tip. However I just stay out of the doctors office unless I absolutely must go.

    Thanks for the tip,

    ~Bert

  • SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well HAPPY Valentines day to you to DOC! that was nice of you to think of me. & please keep the patients best interests first.

  • He's of German descent. Good man. My neighbor looks and talks just like him.

  • Good advice, usually when I call my doctor I speak to one of his nurses who will relay messages.

  • @kwill81

or if it's not the nurse(s) that you speak too it's the medical assistant who gives attitude and makes you feel like you've committed a crime for asking to speak to the doctor....

  • @MatchlessConception9

I agree! My mom left several msgs with the assistant and she still couldnt get a reply back, FOR MONTHS!!

  • Xcellent advices, and your vdo quality is wonderful, it proves your committment to pacients. Keep it up doc.

  • He's not talking about my doctor. What's your number Dr. Schultz? I didn't know I was allowed to be respected and responded to as a patient! Wow!

  • cool

  • Thanks for the advice.

  • Hmm your cool i subscribe ;D

  • True wisdom, but a lot of people do feel like they're interrupting something important or making their doc go out of his way to see them.

Doubting, sarcastic or judging manner drive a lot of patients away, especially in the dental industry.

  • ty that helped me alot

  • Good I am always embarrassed to call my psych doctor he gives his office number n his home number but i am always embarasses so i call him when he is out of the office on his voicemail cuz i am less shy that way.

  • Thanx doc. Happy late valentine :)

  • you are a cool Doctor!

  • Thank you doctor for keeping all of us aware to reach out to your doctor whenever you're concerned.I do no a lot of people that won't talk to there doctor. Thay just go for follow ups.

  • Thanks for sending me this video 5/5!!!

  • Thanks for sharing ..

  • And you really are a nice doctor :D.

  • Thanks for this video.

  • My doctor is certainly too bush and has been rude to me a couple times. Where do I complain about a doctor so people know about his bad tendencies but who has not committed any crimes or broken any rules? Not all things that a doctor should NOT do are illegal keep in mind.

  • too *busy*

  • @mtb416 Very true. But keep in mind that not all doctors are going to be amazingly nice. They're people just like you and me.. and they may have they're bad days or just be terminally grouchy. But they're still a doctor and you cant let their bad attitude stop you from getting something diagnosed or treated.

If you really have a problem with your doctor, switch to another.

  • Ha, yes, I am aware that people can be grouches and have the right to do so........

I have further issues with his conduct that go behind simple pleasantries. I just want people to know what they're getting, or not getting.

  • @mtb416 haham just making sure, You wouldn't believe how many people think the world and everyone in it should be perfect to their standards and that they can clutter posting boards with their minor complaints.

Anyway, I digress.. Back to the issue; If your doctor just has a few poor tendencies, possibly talk to him/her about them. You can also check consumer review websites, I'm sure there's one for doctors. And switch if need be.

  • @gaurdians1 I would believe it, but Doctors are to be held to a different standard. You must understand that what you might find to be "minor" might not be to others.

He is simply a bad doctor, and if I had my way he would no longer be able to practice. I have switched. I am only looking for means to allow others to not waste their time and money.

    Have a good one.

  • @mtb416: If a doctor has rushed you too much, theres really no organization to complain to and you voice your objection by no longer seeing that doctor. However, if the doctor has been rude to you, that is not acceptable and you can call your local medical society in whatever city you are and ask them what department you should discuss his or her professional conduct with.

  • thanks for sending me this :)

  • I wish I could have a doctor like you. The 2 derms at the clinic I go to... 1st said '1 issue at a time.' I asked him to look at my eczema and some acne, both are on my back. so basically he says I need to make 2 trips, 2 co-pays of $40 for my back! Then 2nd guy I went for alopecia. I only went to him as a 2nd opinion, he didnt have an opening for 3 months so I went elsewhere. I went to him for 2nd opinion and he kept trying to get me to switch to him. so NOW he has time for me? :(

  • Wow that sucks.

  • Hi, doctor :) If you have the time to answer my question: can women use men's facial products? If not: why? What difference does this make? I really wonder

Also thanks for all of the useful information you share with us. I really think more people should know about your channel :)

    Katie

  • @lollsazz: What a great question, surely to become the subject of an episode! The answer is simple: of course women can! The biggest difference between men's and women's products is the packaging! So as always, the most important thing to consider when choosing skincare products is to ensure that they are appropriate for your oil/water skin type.

  • Thanks, doctor! It would be good to have a little guide :)

  • I wish you could be my doctor, you are so nice :D

  • I think your an amazing doctor.Who actually takes time out.Amazing work, keep it up.
