  • Haha, this reminds me so much of when i try to get a hold of my brother in the philippines, haha it is frustrating.... and i have to redial a million times LOL... haha

  • Haha, Jann! Yeah, the only way I've ever called the Philippines is using a phone card, and for some reason I thought it would be easy.

Instead it was a real rough night.

Thanks for checking this out. Now you can see what an active member I am in the NoyTube community.

I'm always trying to bring all of us together!

  • lol, that looks a bit frustrating! i've had those type of situations myself. call. reach. can't hear. too loud. lol, but you handled it with grace, let me say ;) lol at problem #8 ;) your editing skills rock. very nicely put together <3

  • Thanks for checking this out, JJ! I really hope you get to know about NoyTube! You'd probably see what an EPIC connection it would have been to talk with my friends there and here. Oh well.

Just had to share the moment. Made for some funny memories at least.

  • This is great Reg!! Well put together! Thanks for sharing this!!! <3

  • Thanks Kits! I really wanted to make sure you saw this and what a large part you (and the Sleepover girls) actually played in this.

Had to show you the part where Jason actually talked about your show too!

  • That's hysterical Reg! ha! ha! Truly Epic!

  • Oh thanks Gerry for checking this out. The things that I'd do to be part of another NoyTube gathering!

  • Ops! its me again nyahaha! 6:12 it is late I know.. but its TGIF at blogtv nyahaha!!!

  • I hate phone cards! LOL!

    That "Half Pinoy" Kid,

    infused08

  • epic connection indeed- You make things so possible Reg- you should be king of youtube international connections....missing you a lot. I wish for the day I wont be so busy just like last year

  • Thanks so much for that comment, Hazel! Haha, KING?! Wow.

Technically, I'm the official American NoyTube Ambassador, so of course I had to do this.

Of course, I'd rather BE THERE than call.

  • i havent check my youtube account for almost a week and now i see this video^-^

hahaha im sooo happy to see u again kuya reg mouahhh!!! hahaha now you know what i feel how to connect and call them its soo freakn hard haha^-^but im so happy you made it!!!

  • C-C-C-Candie! I'm so happy to HEAR from you again! Muah!

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you were going to call too, but I obviously I took up a lot of their time!

But yes, now I know the feeling you had in your videos when you called and got to talk to them too! It's awesome.

I'd much rather be there in person though!

  • hahahaha! with the look at ur face? hahaha! makes it worth watching this vid! hahaha! its funny everytime the problem description appear!lol. cant help but to laugh hard! hahaha! but i have to give it to you sir reg, u didnt give up on connecting to us! thanks for that! the last part of this vid is the coolest part! awesome as always sir reg! =)

  • So glad you enjoyed this video, Aris. You looked pretty bored as I was stealing the attention from the other clone away from you! Haha.

Glad I talked to you for a little bit. Wish I recorded it because I forget what we talked about!

  • wohooo!!! Hooray for kuya reggie!!! this is so funny ...

    i can't stop laughing..

    we love you kuya reggie!!

hahaha thanks for calling us ^_^

  • Mary! I'm so happy this made you laugh. There will be a time when I'll be right there to make you laugh and to see you smile.

    Take care, sweetie!

  • I know how hard to call the Philippines using a phone card it's really a hassle...

I can see the frustrations on your face hahaha but I know it's all worth it...

  • Haha, Ben... yes, I had to show those were my natural reactions to everything.

Honestly, I forgot the camera was on at some parts, while on the most important part, I forgot to hit record!

  • hahahah..thats pretty cool!!!! next time lemme know!

  • hey kuya reggie just buy a foncard to a pinoy store near you it cost like 5 dollars and the minutes is longer.. its like 40 minutes for 5 bucks foreal...

i looove this video your awesome coz you get a chance to record your conversation with our noytube family... thats a very brilliant idea kuya reggie...

  • Yeah, Claudette... unfortunately I wasn't down in the Beach area, so I had to get a card from some other place.

And I knew they would be recording it over there so I had to do it. It made for a fun video!

  • LOL THIS IS HILARIOus HHAHAH THIS IS SOO TYPICALLY WHAT HAPPENS TO MEE HAHAHAH LOL -Janrei FUNNY VID Regi!!1

  • Thanks, Janrei! Yes I don't call the Philippines that often, so this the only way I know how.

Never thought it would be so much more trouble than ever!

  • ooohh k...NOY tube...Pinoy...Got it. Even thougth I'm not Pinoy, Im down wit cha

  • Yo Will, thanks for stopping by! Haha, you'd pass for a Flip pretty easy, but it's not all about that anyway. It's also about connection.

Meanwhile, this video is all about DISconnection!

  • That was cool Reggie! Man we got to set up a gathering here in the US one of these days. That would be a blast :)

  • Hey Cory! There's actually another gathering in the works in the summer. Are you gonna be around?

You'd be the first to ever attend gatherings on both sides of the planet! Haha.

  • Ohh man! That was... that was... nevermind...

I know the feeling... how hard it is to get to a number after dialing all those card numbers & pin numbers... and can I just say that... you're one hell of a patient person! LOL

I could have just sent them a text message but since I know you'd do anything to get connected, I praise you for that!

But seeing & hearing the conversation between the 2 parties, that was fun.

And that "oh man" and "oh no" look on your face?

    Priceless! LOL. Muah!

  • Sarita, my dear! Phone cards are so old school, I guess. It's the only way that I've ever called the Philippines.

For some reason I thought it would be a simple call.

And yeah, you guys get to see my real reactions in this vid. I did remain calm, but I sure got frustrated.

I'm glad I had actual footage of BOTH sides to show the moments when we really were connected.

  • Oh man that was awesome, seeing the conversation from your angle, nice one.

Haha, 4:50 you were asking for me, hoping for someone who wasn't gonna slip into Tagalog was it?

That Phone card is a bit sucky though? 25 mins on $10, here I use a Phone card on 10euro I get 66mins to a Pinoy Mobile... I know a Euro is more than a Dollar but still that's a massive difference.

  • So glad you enjoyed this, Franklin! Yeah, I wanted to talk to you to wish you the best on your marriage.... that's the main reason I wanted to talk to you!

But also... for some reason, English comes through my phone much more clearly! Hahaha.

As for the phone card, I just bought one that night for this. No time to be choosy.

  • heeheehee you're so dedicated, reg. :D

  • Thanks always for watching, Dennis.

This just would have been historic if it had truly worked. Had to keep trying.

  • wow there's the map again nyahaha!!! You are multi tasking? Chatin' with us on blog tv and talking on the pnone with the noytubers in Phils... galing!!!

  • Hey Jen! Haha, yes, I need the map again to show the scope of this thing.

I really wanted to be online with you WHILE talking on the phone but I don't know if I could have handled that!

But I brought us all that much closer!

  • hmmm..i want to talk to you but..my nose is bleeding.. :)

  • u r funny liezel, nose bleed? everyday in my life here in canada im xperiencing nosebleed.. di lang nose pati ears LOL!((hugs))

  • Aww, Liezhel... you were so sweet to actually come over to the phone to talk to me.

Don't worry, next time it will be just you and me... and a translator. Hahaha!

  • wow,, that was a lot of effort sir reg..

it was the phone cards fault,,, eheheheh...

    ^___^

  • yah phone cards fault geez sayang! Grabe $10 of phonecard? samantalang ako $2.50 solve na solve na nyahaha!!! I think it's smart buddy's fault? or I guess globe? or maybe TM nyahaha pprpmote na ko! *Wink teacher!!!

  • Yes, I tried real hard, Chaka. Haha, and according to CJxtin's video, the signal cut out before you got the phone!

Aww, next time, I'll just go there myself. That's easier!

  • woah! that was nice kuya reg,

    nice editing 5 stars

now i see your effort how you call us

    hayzzz! to many problems!

  • Hey Jephone! I'm glad you all got to see my side of it.

I actually started feeling bad that I was disrupting you guys, but i wasn't going to give up easily!

  • nicely done of course, technology's awesome is it not. I really like the phone ringing. I remember A pinkfloyd song with england type operaters and telephone sound effects Mr floyd will you except the charges from mrs floyd. oops she hung up?

  • Haha, Robert. Thanks again for tuning in!

Yes, that ringing just became so symbolic of the whole situation. So frustrating when that's all you hear and there's nothing you can do.

  • wow... looks like fun. I'm amazed everyone documented.

Actually after watching that... it looks like our current technology is still kinda primitive. You could barely hear the people on the other side of your line. I think that if you actually saw video of them talking to you in real time, now THAT would be impressive.

  • Hey Duy. Thanks for checking this out.

Yeah, noise was definitely a factor, but until we figured out the short time delay, we were constantly overlapping each other... but now I'm more partial to real meetups than call-in's now!

  • Wow, that was so awesome Reg! Haha, I like how you managed to get both sides of the conversation, well, at least some of it! Watching this video just got me more excited to go to the Youtube gathering out here this summer :] It's gonna be awesome!!! Very nice video, love the editing, and how you put Blog in there too. That's way cool :D Can't wait to see more of your videos! You rock.

    <3 Leia

  • Leia! I<3U! It's always nice to get a comment from you!

Yeah, I'd much rather be at a gathering then call in, but it was gonna be historic if it worked.

And BlogTV is currently our virtual form of gathering but definitely looking forward to our REAL gathering!

  • cool, kuya reg!!!..just wanna make it up to you..i was still shy to say HI over the phone then..so here am i saying...HALLLLOOOOOO!!!!!!=)hehe..keep those videos coming!

  • Hey Ivan. Don't worry about it. Even though I just learned about you at the time, I'm glad you made it there to be an active part of NoyTube.

So glad we crossed paths... sort of.

  • its such a prestige seeing me or my name on your vid Kuya Reg!!!! CINCO ESTRELLA for that!!

  • Yeah, BigKele. Trust me, it was an honor to display all of my friends' names together.

We were all connected in some way that day both through me and Jason. Even Jason couldn't deny the EPIC-ness!

  • I never had the chance to talk to you. =(

  • Aww don't worry about it Justin. You're far from alone in THAT category.

Next time, I'll get a better connection and a lot more minutes!

Or better yet, I'll BE THERE!

  • this is Super reg!

  • Thanks Dolly for always tuning in!

  • awesome video Kuya Reg!!! cool editing!!

  • Wow, the intense effort it takes just for a few minutes of clear conversation! Jason was saying "I can imagine the look on your face right now, the tone of your voice!" then you go "Wait til you see the video!" HAHAHAHAHAA, nice

Its all good man, its definitely the effort that counts, everybody there gave ya recognition for it

This is a clever way of making a spin-off Reg!

    -Team Bastos-

  • Thanks Team Bastos. I honestly didn't know how this was going to turn out... and I certainly didn't expect all the trouble.

Still I thought it made an interesting story after all.

  • wo0oho0o0! awesome footages! too bad you didnt hit the record button on some part of the conversation! love how you put all the videos together!!! anyways, we had so much Fun! =) till next time kuya Reg! LOL :)

  • I know Christine Joy. I was just so happy to actually be talking to somebody that I forgot to hit record!

You had some great shots in your video that I could've used, but Jason's video was fine.

Thanks for all the support! Love NoyTube!

  • Heehee that was fun to watch. It's great how strangers who met in YouTube can go and foster great friendships such as this. :D

  • Hey Sam!

You're absolutely right. It's hard to believe that how a video sharing site can actually create a community and even a virtual family. I'm so proud to be a big part of NoyTube.

It's how I met YOU! Thanks for enjoying the video!

  • lol things u do for NOYTUBE!!!!!! EPIC-NESS!!!!!!

  • Absolutely, Eman!

I really wanted to be on Kits' show with you guys WHILE on the phone with them, but as you saw... you would not have gotten much.

But it turned out okay in the end.

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I love your reaction and the annotations at 1:39. LMAO! X-D X-D X-D

Great documentation of the whole thing, Reggie. Love how you edited everything. :-)

I promise I won't make your connecting with us difficult and stressful next time around.

5 stars!!! Faved!!! and most definitely FEATURED!!! :-)

  • Hey again, Jason!

Yeah, you should have heard even ME burst out in laughter the first time I saw all those "HI's" pop up.

I love playing with annotations. Originally I was going to put one for every one there with their links, but we get the picture.

I'm so proud of this video. It was a challenge to edit, but it made for a true memory for me.

  • Watching this video again and again, I could see what a pain it is for you to redial, Reg. I'm sorry my phone died on you. :-(

2:45 - "Or somebody who speaks English".... 4:16 - "English por favor..." Hahaha!

Aaaww. You wanted to talk to Franklin Hughes on 4:54 but I just couldn't hear you. Damn! Rivers was also distracting me then. Hahaha!

6:33 - Super LOL! Of all the bad luck.

I so love the world map you did in the last part. You even got the same Eurostile font I used in NoyTube. :-)

  • Haha, Jason. I'm hoping no one takes offense when I ask for someone who speaks English.

The connection was bad enough... but to only hear another language didn't make it any easier!

And yeah, I wanted to speak to Franklin to wish him the best.

LIke MY NoyTube logo? It transforms differently than your versions. I was gonna ask for the logo animation, but I thought, nah... I'll just make my own!

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG! Watching that whole video was soooooo amusing, Reggie. Now I got to see how you were really frustrated during those times. But I do commend you for remaining calm despite the circumstances. Seeing us both on the screen talking on 2:53 & the succeeding frames was awesome!

Love your comment on the DISCONNECTED thing on 5:20. LOL

This was beautifully put together, Reggie. Love the musical stingers at every artcard especially at 7:03.

Running out of space. I'll COMMENT again.

  • Hey Jason! Yeah, you called it... the look of frustration on my face just through my voice.

And yeah, when I first synced up our video and put us both on screen, it was TRULY an EPIC CONNECTION for me.

I'm so glad you gave me your footage so I could show everyone how it all went down!

  • lol ... That was funny. Still was good to make a bit of connection with all that :-))

  • Thanks "Relaxed!" Yeah, it was rough.. but it worked out in the end.

I really appreciate you checking my videos out!

  • hahahahaha!

you did your best to call everybody lols!!hahaha

they were all havin fun and you were like stressed hahahaha!anyways!i hope to be there on the next gathering to give a shoutout to you:) hehehe

  • Yeah, Lhaine... to me, this was an historic connection. I certainly wasn't going to let anything stop me.

Yes, it was a bit frustrating but it worked out in the end.

Can't wait to see YOU there one time!
