I have a question though, why didn't you use chicago typewriter to kill the zealots at 5:21?

@satzkey Switching weapons takes time and I need the striker for the start of 3-2 anyway so it works perfectly. I can do the damage with the striker without the extra weapon change :) I try to save every fraction if I can :P

@PSZeroRoxas15 Not at all :P I have always been quite competitive with myself though so I would have started speedrunning a game anyway. Just had to be such a cruel one like RE4 I chose :)

@michelvanhoudt Funny enough I have been trying to figure this out myself :P I know it was 28:xx but that's all I know. I need to say each time in the 28's to see if it triggers any memories :) it was roughly 28:4x

@michelvanhoudt Here's one to remember then :) On my previous run I finished 4-4 with EXACTLY 1:00:00 ^_^ So keep that in mind when I get there and you will be able to compare again :)

@michelvanhoudt Yeah I noticed at the first crank I was allowed to start turning from the side of the crank :P

The reason I stand for a sec after picking up the second sword is because you cant access the inventory instantly after picking up an item/entering a new area. I couldn't just press on it because it cancelled ditman, same with a sec after when I don't c turn to head up the stairs. Aiming the striker cancels too :)

@michelvanhoudt P2 of comment :) Getting stuck against something seemed to happen alot anyway around those guys. This was horrible though and what were the chances of running into the "middle" of him lol. Any fraction to each side would have pushed me around him but I guess every 3-1 must have a flaw of some kind :)

The flash was just a stupid idea. I threw that before I even realised that I would have to throw another anyway to the other guys who will not be stunned by it.

@michelvanhoudt The 4 hits are needed for my new 3-2 strategy ^_^ I should have mentioned that in the description first since it will confuse some people most likely. You wont believe what happened before this attempt though :( I finished a great chapter with the exact time as this one "27:52" but I found out I was the smallest bit out with the damage I took and the red "key" zealot wouldn't die from one rocket. He was one extra knife slash from death :( Terribly unlucky.

Like U3 lol only he can't be lowered to one rocket I assume?

@michelvanhoudt U3 fight is in 2 stages. No matter how much damage he takes he still needs to collapse onto the floor first before he can die. So the game leaves the tiniest possible bit of health for him (knife slash) so he can still complete the animation :)

@ax2mix1 Thank You Achilles :) I discovered I could ignore the archers by luck. I stunned the one on the right by accident and thought of using ashley as a guard for the left one :P The left archer would still shoot me alot but I just went for luck there. The one shield I killed was always causing problems on the crank. Only twice in practice have I ever just killed no one and made it out untouched ^_^

Could you please comment on two questions?

1) You slowed down for a second just before the water room, at 3:42. Did you wait for somebody or something?

2) What was the flash grenade for in the basement of the water room, at 4:07? I didn't see anybody else in that room.

At 3:42 I slowed down because Ashley will always duck down and ruin the run if I go too far ahead :)

The flash was to try and stun the guy and keep the door open for me but it probably wouldn't have worked anyway and I would have to throw another flash anyway at the guy who I kicked with the door. So either way it takes a door kick and one flash grenade to get out really :P Using the flash didn't waste any time though as I turned on recovery of the throw :)
