  • @AETrainingDavid97 I actually tried that mod, liked it but it's very resource heavy. My comp can barely run it! Gonna do a format and see if I can't wring some more speed out of it.

  • Yeah it's quite good. Honestly I've been experimenting with so many mods that doing a clean install is no longer an issue.

  • I think it's just RC1 for now. I'm not sure, maybe you didn't remove all the files? I have gotten Oblost and Arsenal to run together (ArsenOL), but when I installed Float the shadows looked all messed up. Other than that the game still ran though, so I'm not sure.

All I can think of at this point is doing a clean install and trying again. Sorry if that's not much help.

  • No idea about Float32, I got it to work but there were some wonky shadow issues. I'm trying to merge several mods from a clean install including both Float and Arsenal so I'll tell you how it goes then. I think they said something about it working with 1.0004 but honestly I don't think it makes a diff. I'm doing it with 1.0006 so if that works, then the others should too theoretically.

Are you installing it over other mods, or onto vanilla (stock version)?

  • Nope, you can run Arsenal only if you want. Just extract the files to your ShOC directory like with any other mod.

  • Any Glock would be a great sidearm in the Zone. Of course, you know how I like .40 S&W. I see you have a Steyr AUG. What a perfect Astrian companion for the Glock! Can you mount an M-203 on it?

  • Heh, I thought so too! Just need a TMP to round out the Austrian collection. The M203 should theoretically work, but I haven't tried it out yet (will do in my upcoming AUG vid). I think they're mounting HK AG-C's on them now, or a variant thereof.

You know, it would be a pretty straightforward matter to make a .40 Glock mod for Stalker, using the same model. Of course, it'll say "Glock 18" on the side. I was thinking of giving it a try.

  • Technically, .40 S&W is a shortened version of the original .40 caliber round, the 10x25 mm auto round, developed by Jeff Cooper. Perfect for handgun hunting, much flatter-shooting and longer-ranged than the .45 ACP, and better stopping power than the 9x19mm Parabellum round. The Glock 20 and 29 both use it.

  • Yeah, the .40 does seem much more practical than the original 10mm. Although MSAR is making an AUG carbine that accepts Glock mags and has interchangeable caliber kits, so a 10mm carbine would be pretty awesome.

I know Iggyhazard likes .40 S&W a lot, I have yet to try it out. I am very interested in the .357 Sig too.

  • what will you say me with this ?

  • Huh?
