I listened to this waaaayyy back when it was new on my AM radio of course... during the Vietnam war...... truly a great meaningful song with words straight out of the Bible. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8..... King Solomon of Israel wrote it under the inspiration of God. King Solomon was endowed with great wisdom from the Lord. A very wise song indeed.
If there was ever a statement about the absolute potentiality of creative energy coming from OurYouth, surely this is an example~~~Blessings to You~~~YourEnergy is impacting the Universe.~^^^~^^^~
Wow! You did a great job combining the pictures with the lyrics! I like it! :) I think though that there is not a time to hate. It just happens because we refuse to devote more time to peace and spend too much time refraining from embracing. I guess the things that move me to anger are a lack of kindness in the way someone does something or acts towards others. Then I try to educate the person about kindness. Then there will be more peace in the world, for that person and others.
@TheDparker78 Thank you! :) Remember this song? "We are the world; we are the children. We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving. There's a choice we're making. We're saving our own lives. It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me."
This idea for the song was amazing. We read this chapter in church and I suddenly realized that this was the lyrics to this song....I thought it was amazing. Ecclesiastes 3 whoo!!

my cat just came in he had a fight he has a gash on his lower chin, it could've been worse. I cleaned the area and steralized it hopefully my job will last to tommorow, i will know by then if it will be infected. I am done now............and this song came to mind, a time to heal and a time to soon come to cast stone's or to forgive.
lost the keys to the house then found them... and then I saw a cat chasing a bird. Long story short maybe i was a bit to quick to jump and there really is a time for everything.

This song is just about pure musical talent and great song writing by Pete Seeger, epitomising an era of possibilities and hope that now seems to have died.
they use to play this song on the oldies station when i was a kid (im 23). Now all i hear is the eagles, zztop and zeppelin. What happened to the oldies??
@commando2224 It's not about whether I'm an atheist or not. It was a simple point that this song is so good it can break the barriers of religion, a force thats usually divisive and get someone who does not accept the lyrics and message of the song to still absolutely adore it.

Good job editing. I can't stand hippies, but this song is great. Brings back memories. Thanks for posting it.
