you plug the camera in, it auto opens iPhoto (you can turn that off in the preferences) You edit the photo using the edit button if you need to. and the click send to whoever you want. Or you have a variety of other options you can do, such as making photobooks, cards, scrapbooks etc. And they're all totally customizable.

Simply because OS X's ease-of-use is infinitely superior to Window's does not mean that it is impossible to get at the OS's innards. All you need to do is master the Terminal, and understand the way the OS is built. Then you can do anything. People oft believe Window's clunky interface is actually a complex interface, and thus feel OS X is "too easy" so must be simple, but it's just that OS X is better made.
