  • thank you! this will make it easier to fillet my comming up 80 or so perch =( =D

  • Holy shit balls thats a big perch. I need a video on how to find more of those.

  • what about the head, its good.

  • i caut a 21inch perch in michigan

  • Nice size, but, I was pike fishing up here in the 1000 Islands region and all of a sudden we heard a splashing noise at the left size of the boat. We looked over and there was an injured, fat, 15 inch perch on top of the water. he wounds were fresh too! We never caught what hurt the fish but we are sure it was a nice size pike, possibly a muskie.

  • that is a fuckin huge perch. thats as big as they get

  • he made it seem so easy ahha.

  • Good job but you need a better camera

  • my fuck thats a big perch

  • i can tell u from experience, it doesnt work like that if A.) u dont have MONSTROUS perch. and B.) u havent done it about 10 thousand times as im sure this guy has.

  • Gut it? you dont have to gut a fish that you filet. That is one of the big pluses of fileting, that and no bones. This was actually one of the best perch fileting video's i've seen. Most people are looking for help in fileting when they look up this type of video, unfortunately most individuals who submit these video's are rank amatuers just trying to get their mug on the web.(reasulting in wrongly taught fisherman) Again, This a quality video ,(notice how a sharp knife made the fileting easy).

  • the only thing bad about this method is you got 2 gut it before you filet it big perch by the way

  • two major benefits of fileting a fish. 1) no bones and 2) don't need to waste time gutting (cleaning) fish.Your just removing the edible meat from the rest of the fish.(bones, skin, intestines ,head),etc

  • what model fillet knife is that?

  • Wow, that's the best fish cleaning technique I've seen on Youtube.

    Thanks!

  • 'K, you know how he flipped the fillet after he had boned it, and he cut off that one piece? Well, my mom doesn't have to do that when she uses this method. I'm not quite sure how she does it, but I know this looks like the way my mom does it. Also, she does it was an electric knife. It's amazing. I should film it and post it.

  • dude,u teached me how to clean white fish,perch...ur awesome thx dude

  • Would you allow me to teach you that the past tense of the word "teach" is "taught," not "teached," without calling me an asshole?

  • I wish I'd seen this before I'd butchered (and I mean butchered) the two I caught at the weekend.

  • Haha did the same with my whitefish

  • Best fish ever, to eat.

  • i dont waster time on stuff i can eat in one bite but ty if i get stuck on a island

  • Really, really helpful.

    Thanks!

  • looks like a damn good fillet

  • great help. thanks for the lesson

  • thats a huge yellow

  • i'm primarily a sea angler these days, but seeing this brings back memories, perch is better eating than trout anyday!

  • I agree. Perch is really one of the tastiest fish of freshwaters. I love all freshwater fishes, anyway.

  • Nice video guys! I do a lot of perch fishing here in Canada, and always had trouble filleting it due to its size and bone layout.

Now i wish i can save this video for future reference! lol

  • Hi, you're doing great job by explaining how to fillet every kind of fish. Keep up the great job. But it 'll be great if you teach how to fillet a pike or muskie also.
