G4 is better, try to get a G4. If you compared a G3 800MHz and a G4 800MHZ, the G4 will be much quicker.

Yes it can but since it is a very flash heavy website the cpu will struggle and videos will not play back as smooth as newer computers.

I'm getting mine tomorrow (Special Edition), so I can't give you a firsthand opinion, but from everything that i've heard of it, it's a great laptop. Not that fast, but still pretty good.

ummm... the 4.5 ounce Palm Centro has a 312mhz intel processor... Might want to upgrade to a MacBook... 2.4ghz, magnetic latch, DVD playing, video camera-ing (lol), internet using, magsafe power adapting supercomputer!!! :) Macs all the way, baby! :)

mainly school work, like typing, or web browsing. can u watch movies on the net, and dvd's, and can u put itunes on it or no?

web browsing will be slow *very slow* unless u can buy some more RAM for it...typing will be ok...movies and dvd's u can forget about them unless u get some more RAM as well and a better graphics card...and itunes can be on it.

im trying to get one for school for notes idk y i would use my gateway fx it is massive and i dont think it would make sence having a gaming lap top for notes. i do like the handel because it is nice because it makes it easyer

The handle is useful indeed, but as I mentioned it does look sorta weird...but if that for you then be my guest...notes will be fine but make sure you have like OS 9 or 8 on there. OS X will still suck for notes.

because on my laptop....when you type the words wont keep up with the speed...it will stop and freeze at times then catch up. It will work though if you put more RAM in your laptop when you get one...atleast 256

no dvd drive is needed. just put the OS X CD in and boot from the CD when your mac boots up. Make sure you have some good specs on your laptop though or the OS will run very very slowly

HD will install it but it will be limited and slow....but increase to the RAM to 256
