Hey buddy, I think you got a good idea here with your interpretation. Since you seem open to feedback, I'd suggest, like others have, that you give it another shot and focus on solid rhythm. Bad timing can make even a good idea go bad really quickly. Spend more time on this and give us another video when you've got it worked out more. Keep going!

I haven't actually heard the original version of the song "You are a tourist" as Death Cab for Cutie sings it, but you have a pleasant voice, and talented at playing guitar. By the way you politely replied to some of the nastier comments, I can tell you're a pretty good sport. Hope the test didn't go very badly.

@andreforsummer lol i know... it's my style haha. i knew this video would get criticized by many hardcore DCFC fans who are looking for an exact carbon copy of their song, but the truth is if you look at ANY musician's cover of ANY song, professional or not, they make it in their own style. to copy it exactly the same would be unoriginal and boring. i respect everyone's opinion and if anyone is looking for an exact copy of their song in the exact same style then you won't find it here lol

@whyouasking thank you for your criticism! although i agree that some parts of the piano aren't perfectly timed (i didn't use a metronome like i do in my original songs, big mistake), i don't think it's THAT horrible haha xD i am no piano player whatsoever, i used it to try and add the riff the song uses because it adds so much to the song, the riff is basically the same structure as the real song i just tweaked it here and there to fit the style i was playing the song in. im happy with it lol:)

@heyyjules thank you :) and yeah i'd think so, it only uses a few different chords and they are basic major/minor chords, ive got the chords listed under the info. section so you can look up the positions for each chord online if youre not sure of them :)
