  • @Nevermind9132 its science and no one can see it and when we put the soap in who pulled the peppers

  • BFVSGF

  • it happens because water molecules stick less to air molecules then soap. when soap is introduced, the soap molecules attatch to the water molecules, and the air molecules attatch to the soap molecules, greatly decreasing the surface tension. when the soap was introduced, it disperses quickly through the water and begins this reaction. the water that still has the surface tension shrinks, like a piece of rubber to the outside. and the surface tension of that water pulls the pepper with it

  • Hahaahaha peppers afraid of soap. :)

  • this is mi science experiment for the science fair

  • omg

  • this is because soap acts as a hydrophobic. wich repels anything inside the water. but once the soap is mixed in with the water it will actract pepper when swished around.... ITS SCIENCE

  • <3

  • thats wat happens to all the girls he tries to get the go away lol

  • Is that black pepper?

  • i tried it and it worked!

  • that pepper was so terrified! lol

  • Fake. You can see the strings attached to the peppers.

  • HOLY JEBUS THATS COOL!

  • use food coloring instead of pepper, its like 1000 times cooler

  • that pepper is racist

  • what happens in the experiment...can someone explain step by step...please

  • *GASP* MOSES?! O.O

  • OMGOSH I JUST TRIED IT AND IT WORKS!!!!!! x

  • ".....why does that happen?" hahah

  • i kno why this happens(i are smert):

soap has a miniscule amount of oil in it and when oil is introduced to water it spreads out over the surface causing the pepper to go to the sides of the bowl

  • omg! i did this 2!

  • lol i like how he says "y does that happen"

  • Awesome video!! This is a really ccool experiment!! Watch our video of this experiment if you get a chance! :-D

  • wat happens if you cover your whole finger with the dish washing sope? why only a little

  • OMG ITS JESUS!

  • if i float a rubber duck or toy boat in there instead of the pepper, will it sink?

  • no it wont

  • lol

  • the peppers are the black people and the soap are mexicans as the mexicans enter the tub the blacks leave lol.........

  • good one lol

  • it does it because the soap is a fat. fats, just like oils, doesnt mix with water, so when it hits the surface it spreads and pushes the pepper. ;)

  • Actually, dishsoap has detergents in it, which chemically bind to oils and are easily mixed with water. The effect is that it makes the fat and water combine and is more easily washed down the drain.

  • dart314, i know you like this experiment but there was no need reallly to be racist was there?

  • the soap changes the surface tension of the water.. in doing so it sucks the soap off the finger more and more.

it's simple really you think this is cool look up square bubbles.

  • i thought the H20 had to be a little warm? oh well i can do it myself still a cool trick =]

  • black or white peper?

  • black so you can see it

  • that happens because the dish washing soup ruins the surface tension of the water, and the pepper is no to heavy to swim and sinks, same works with a rain collecting barrel where tons of mosquito sit on the water surface, put a drop of soup into it and all the mosquitos will die ;)

  • @endursa I love the part where mosquitos die.

  • Hmm why does that happen??
