  • lol that leaf, nooooooooooo jeremy your shoes damn man i need to deck you out with fresh gear

  • noooooooooo jeremy ur shirt collar is all warn out just like mine i had since like gr 9 american eagle shirts noooooooooooooooo damn man is there something i can do to donate to u and how to hockey

  • ( I'm a righty) I like shooting my snapshot off my left leg, and dragging it so I shoot through their legs for a nice screen

  • This was great. I really want to commend you on how you broke down the snap shot into three parts!

  • Great video thanks man, looking forward to watching few more how to videos

  • Take a look at my shooting video it's titled "50+ mph slapshot" I just got a speedtracx and now my shots are 65-70 mph which is a great improvement!! If you do end up watching the video i hope you enjoy it!

  • OMG YES! i am in my second year of organized hockey and now i can snipe some ginos bar down with snappers #fearless

  • great job explaining man, i hope to soon make similar videos demonstrating proper shot technique and I will use your video here as a goal.

  • whats the thing you havr behind the net to catch the pucks?

  • this helped

  • got post ?

  • i got a question what gloves as in hockey are essential to stickhandeling i use reebok and hate them and will get x 40 s but heard that warrior are good please answer

  • everyone does it differntly than I have learned, when I do my snap shot the puck very distinctfully leaves my stick with probably at least 4inches between the stick and puck, is that proper? or even a snapshot? perhaps a slapshot but my stick never leaves the ice?

  • @hockeyboy313 Yes that is a common technique, you push the puck forwards a bit and then you do the snap, catch up with the puck and let a zinger go.

  • i could never get any power in these shots, then I watched your video, tried it straight away and it broke my radiator :D cheers

  • U like to go bar down

    No kidding

    Ding ding ding ding...........

  • which stick r using???

  • TINGTINGTINGTINGTINGTINGTINGTING

  • Like for the Random leaf at 0:26

  • Do you coach?

    You should coach brah.

  • @iKearGunz Yes I do, I love hockey, coach it, play it, make videos for the interweb, watch it on t.v, etc etc :D

  • can you post a video on how to snapshot while skating. it would really help!

  • @xdavstratx perhaps this is what you are looking for /watch?v=h2t3AOfitBI

  • when u toke a snapshot off of ur one foot, what did u do with ur left leg??? r u supposed to kick or no????

  • aren't you sposta use the heel of your blade? correct me if i am wrong but there is no power on the toe, the toe is only used for the end of your shot when the puck leaves your stick.

  • what are you using as a platform to shoot off???

  • @kellyboy5 puck board

  • 3.0.3 cheap bastard....

  • Just a thought, maybe you should try putting your actual shots on slow-mo, that might help immensely. Love your vids btw.

  • @howtohockeydotcom Whats the difference between a wrist shot and a snap shot?

  • @MrJackdermody7 the wrist shot is more powerful and usually taken off the leg furthest from the blade of the stick. The snapshot is more about quick release, barely any set-up and is usually taken from the leg closest to the blade of the stick.

  • Can I hire you as my personal coach? :)

  • does anybody have any tips on how to put more power and velocity into my snap shots???

  • luv ur vids, is that the roll up pad???

  • @ovibetterthancrosby yup the roll-up shooting pad. We have a coupon code on our website for $10 off, it's great I use it all the time.

  • i like to do the snap shot when im close to the net and then i like to shoot it at the blocker side because they have no time to think and it works alot for me thanks for toeaching me the snapshot

  • @brendanbo186 Awesome tip! I usually go 5 hole when I am close to the net (if it's open) same reason, the goalie doesn't have time to close it. Blocker side is always a good option from in close, especially if blocker side is on your shooting side (the puck can see more of the net than you can that way)

  • Is the toe of your blade supposed to stay on the ice the whole time?

  • check ouy my video response and let me know what i can improve on. im doing a lot wrong need help thanks

  • How do u get the puck to stay straight and not rotate when you release it?

  • @iLOVEkane88 practice.

  • @HarmanSin WOW THANKS

  • @iLOVEkane88 No sarcasm intended. Just keep practising and you'll be able to shoot straight in no time.

  • Is it just me, or are the pucks really small?

  • snap shots are the best.. I just mastered them off the ice they are amazing and very powerful. but now it is time to do it on the ice

  • I got the same gloves! haha

  • Do you Start from the heel or the toe? Plz respond plz.

    Love your vids!!!

  • This is hands down the best snap shot video on the webs. WTG!

  • Ting, ting, ting, ting. OMG just for the top corner! ahhh you hit the crossbar to much.

  • @hockeyfan1003 Yeah right, BAR DOWN BABY! Best way to score, puts an exclamation mark on the goal!

  • @howtohockeydotcom You're right, but shit if you listen to it yourself, it gets annyoing. YEAH!

  • @howtohockeydotcom

    My favorite way to score

  • @howtohockeydotcom Haha Jeremy, We both have the same stick :D Reebok 3.0.3 i love it <3 I also have the 8.0.8 but it's to flexable..

  • @hockeyfan1003 which do you like more the dryland flooring tiles or the shooting pad? Also which one slides better?

    Thanks!

  • I notice in some of your videos you use a TPS response stick. Is it an R2? How good is the stick?

  • @lnsordo91 Yeah it was the R2, I liked it but I accidentally got the 70 flex and did not like how whippy it was! It's broken now though, then I got the Reebok 303 which I liked, and then broke and now I am using the Winwell GX8, broke that one too but bought another one because I liked it a lot

  • @howtohockeydotcom what flex do you have now?

  • google ez goal

  • Which shot is more important in a game as a forward player? The normal wrist shot or the snapshot? I don´t know in which one i should specialize me.

  • @spatti88 according to Gary Glitter it's all about the quick release. THe snap shot

  • that really helped thanks! and id hate to play post against you.. you're really accurate with hitting the crossbar lol

  • So if i have a big toe curve on my stick, i should drag the puck with my toe then shoot using the toe right?

  • you aren't rolling your wrist your snapping them, that is also why it's called a snap shot. you do it write just taught it wrong

  • @mshuckett I just said roll because if I say snap for the entire video I know people will ask "what does snap your wrist mean?" Your are rolling your wrists very fast, so I say roll your wrists at the beginning, that way beginners will understand.

  • @mshuckett right* i love how you're trying to prove him wrong and spell right wrong.... played.

  • amazing video thank you, i watch this before every game now

  • Really love all of your videos, ive subscribed and liked to alot now... I cant believe how much they have helped in hockey thanks alot :)

  • Great video !!!!!

  • yaa reebok.

  • Amazing, you are really dinging that bar lol! Great video, time to practice

  • These videos are nice. i feel that i play bether and bether, after i've been watching these videos, continue making how to do videos! :D

  • BAR DOWN

  • You did a great job presenting this, and very impressive shooting.

  • holy poop, nice accuracy on the backyard shots

  • @peterjames314 Thanks, if only I could shoot like that on the ice :D

  • Finally! been waiting for this for a long time :P

  • Finally a video of someone who actually knows how to do a snap shot lol, nice shooting.

  • how far away is your skill pad for snap shots?

  • @rbkhockey83 For the snapshots I like to have the skillpad about the same distance as the hashmarks are on the ice.

  • Honestly, your videos are absolutely amazing! I am a former HS(v) player who had to quit because of knee surgery/concussions etc. Just getting back into the game in adult league with a new found love of the sport. Your videos helped me to get back into form after such a long time. So far 4 goals in 2 games! Again, thanks alot. Will be looking out for any new vids you put out.

  • @renumultiplus Thanks for the positive comment :D Good job with the 4 goals, keep up the hustle!

  • Comment removed

  • These videos have been very helpful. I scored my first goal last week and I know these have definitely helped. Keep it up!

  • I see that you are taking the snapshot with your toes always towards the goal. Is that how a snapshot should usually be taken and/or practiced? Would it be worth while to practice this in the traditional wrist shot stance (toes perpendicular to the net) as well?

  • @brandyn737rr For the snapshot I like to practice with my toes towards the net because that is how I usually take the shot on ice. I still practice in the wrist shot stance the odd time, I usualy practice every shot with toes towards the goal, toes away from the goal, transfering weight onto my left foot, and transfering weight onto my right leg. That basically covers any situation on the ice.

  • Hope there's no windows near that side of the house, getting some wicked bar deflections into the house there...

  • @Swizzy That's the garage ;) and no windows within breaking distance. I always try to go bar-down so I get quite a few shots that fly off the post.

  • how do u like the 8.0.8 i almost got it

  • @MrNjdevilsfan30 thats not an 8.0.8 it a 3.0.3

  • @snipeageno Good eye, I don't actually know which one it is, but it was $90 and I hear the 8.0.8 is a lot more :D All I know is it's 85 flex, fairly light, and has a cool sand paper like grip that I like, and a good price!

I try not to buy into hockey stick hype, and just feel them all out in the store and get one that feels right.

  • @snipeageno oh i didnt really pay attention they look pretty similar

  • thanks I'm a Inter City B defense man and these videos help a lot

  • Great video can't wait to play hockey!!
