noooooooooo jeremy ur shirt collar is all warn out just like mine i had since like gr 9 american eagle shirts noooooooooooooooo damn man is there something i can do to donate to u and how to hockey
Take a look at my shooting video it's titled "50+ mph slapshot" I just got a speedtracx and now my shots are 65-70 mph which is a great improvement!! If you do end up watching the video i hope you enjoy it!
i got a question what gloves as in hockey are essential to stickhandeling i use reebok and hate them and will get x 40 s but heard that warrior are good please answer
everyone does it differntly than I have learned, when I do my snap shot the puck very distinctfully leaves my stick with probably at least 4inches between the stick and puck, is that proper? or even a snapshot? perhaps a slapshot but my stick never leaves the ice?
aren't you sposta use the heel of your blade? correct me if i am wrong but there is no power on the toe, the toe is only used for the end of your shot when the puck leaves your stick.
@MrJackdermody7 the wrist shot is more powerful and usually taken off the leg furthest from the blade of the stick. The snapshot is more about quick release, barely any set-up and is usually taken from the leg closest to the blade of the stick.
i like to do the snap shot when im close to the net and then i like to shoot it at the blocker side because they have no time to think and it works alot for me thanks for toeaching me the snapshot
@brendanbo186 Awesome tip! I usually go 5 hole when I am close to the net (if it's open) same reason, the goalie doesn't have time to close it. Blocker side is always a good option from in close, especially if blocker side is on your shooting side (the puck can see more of the net than you can that way)
@lnsordo91 Yeah it was the R2, I liked it but I accidentally got the 70 flex and did not like how whippy it was! It's broken now though, then I got the Reebok 303 which I liked, and then broke and now I am using the Winwell GX8, broke that one too but bought another one because I liked it a lot
@mshuckett I just said roll because if I say snap for the entire video I know people will ask "what does snap your wrist mean?" Your are rolling your wrists very fast, so I say roll your wrists at the beginning, that way beginners will understand.
Honestly, your videos are absolutely amazing! I am a former HS(v) player who had to quit because of knee surgery/concussions etc. Just getting back into the game in adult league with a new found love of the sport. Your videos helped me to get back into form after such a long time. So far 4 goals in 2 games! Again, thanks alot. Will be looking out for any new vids you put out.
I see that you are taking the snapshot with your toes always towards the goal. Is that how a snapshot should usually be taken and/or practiced? Would it be worth while to practice this in the traditional wrist shot stance (toes perpendicular to the net) as well?
@brandyn737rr For the snapshot I like to practice with my toes towards the net because that is how I usually take the shot on ice. I still practice in the wrist shot stance the odd time, I usualy practice every shot with toes towards the goal, toes away from the goal, transfering weight onto my left foot, and transfering weight onto my right leg. That basically covers any situation on the ice.
@snipeageno Good eye, I don't actually know which one it is, but it was $90 and I hear the 8.0.8 is a lot more :D All I know is it's 85 flex, fairly light, and has a cool sand paper like grip that I like, and a good price!
I try not to buy into hockey stick hype, and just feel them all out in the store and get one that feels right.
lol that leaf, nooooooooooo jeremy your shoes damn man i need to deck you out with fresh gear

hockeyboy313 3 months ago
@hockeyboy313 Yes that is a common technique, you push the puck forwards a bit and then you do the snap, catch up with the puck and let a zinger go.

you aren't rolling your wrist your snapping them, that is also why it's called a snap shot. you do it write just taught it wrong
