My parents have a corgi, and it is living proof that not all corgis are energetic. Her only point in life is to cuddle everyone she can, and she will actively avoid any and all exercise we attempt.

lol i have a mix of one of these dogs and hes great, i call it an irsih corgi and so did the vet. hes a cranky ol bastard dog that is funny as hell!

I so love big big dogs, but the Corgi caught my eye. I love the fact that they are so attentive and pay attention to what ever you are doing. My daughters Corgi eats, sleeps, goes outside etc whenever her big bro, my lab, does. He is learning so fast

Corgis aren't meant for small children. Our 7 year old male Pembroke dislike small kids, but he is perfect for older kids (I'm 17, for example) and adults. If you want a playmate for your young child, either get a lab or wait till the children have settles down and can handle a corgi.

My corgi is very stubborn. He was and still is hard to train because of this; however, once he realizes I'm serious he learns things quickly. Oh and he gets mad when we leave him at home and tears up the house. Darn dog haha
