  • Lynott's voice is pretty knackered in this vid

  • Lizzy's best line up by far, John Sykes gave the band the kick up the backside they needed

  • hmm, not the best lyric performance by Phil Lynott

  • Good Motorhead impression.

  • I saw them on this tour in Sheffield. Amazing concert.

  • It's hard to believe Thin Lizzy wasn't the biggest & the greatest band to ever

exist! Hell they are to me ! it's like am I just different or what? Thin Lizzy still Rocks

    in my World! good vid!

  • Great memories , I was at that concert , just did my intercert 1983 I think. Best band to come out of IRL for sure. John Sykes was amazing. No concert will ever surpass this one. Pity they dont make time machines.

  • Wow...the band sounds great but Phil's vocals are just awful. It's disappointing cause on the album he's a madman! You could do an anti-drug PSA with one after the other, "this is your performance on heroin." R.I.P. Mr Lynott.

  • quality band

  • quality song

  • fuck heroen it takes some of the best rockers

  • Wish I'd seen them live ! RIP The Rocker much missed !!

  • The lineup with Robertson is unbeatable. That was Lizzy! The band lost their soul with that fuckin keyboard ...

  • The best hard/heavy band ever, along with Purple,Zeppelin and Rainbow.Too bad they arent as famous.

  • @TheGreatDuck Thin Lizzy have more fame than Rainbow.

  • ya defcun t

  • I was on this tour ! And I get Phil, Scott and Johns autographs. The autographs is on my Renegade album!

  • WANT TO SELL IT

  • Sykes's solo! amazing!

  • I saw the thunder and lightening tour twice and the Odeon in B'ham, the best concerts I ever went to. Phil u were a charismatic genius RIP The Rocker!

  • this is one of those relly underated band who reallt push the progresstion of rock

  • Todays music hasn't got anything on this, they just pwn! Thin Lizzy forever, their stage presence is absolutely

    mind-blowing.

I wanna give this one-hundred stars, I totally love it! XDDDDDDD

  • sounds a bit like lemmi on this one, phil strugglin a bit but john is a wizard on lead!!

  • Five stars for the solo alone!

  • animal tune

  • The dual guitar assault onto the crowd at 2:20 is f en amazing....RIP Phil...

  • T&L official DVD'Ss audio quality is atrocious

    lacks mids heighs fllat bass

this is an awesome performance if you'll find the better version of this on youtube

  • WHERES ME ASS?

  • naa rubish

  • You can notice that Phils was pretty fucked up at this time.

  • rippin' guitar solos!!!

  • It's a damn shame the music scene had changed so much around this band by this time. The world was into Duran Duran and Culture Club while Lizzy carried on like it was 1977. I have nothing against those bands, but COME ON!

If anybody wants to see the last days of sheer fucking rock, just show them this.

    The Irishman never let up.

  • Right On!

  • This song is really Speed Metal sounding IMO.

  • haha phil's stage presence is pretty small here!

but he appears to be full of shocking surprises when its his time to shine.

    devastating performance

but god bless, we all love phil

  • GODDAMM!!!! Graet song.Shit version.

  • not only does he sing the second verse twice, bt totally fucks up the last verse. can only laugh tho as he is every rocker's idol

  • He fucks up so much because at this point in his life he was withering away from smack & booze. You should see more footage from the last tour, he constantly flubs the lyrics and looks like he's barely holding it together. Pretty sad to see, actually.

  • motorlizzy??

  • kinda reminds me of motörhead too, sounds damn great!

  • I love Phil and I love this song, but anybody else notice he's so wasted he sings the second verse twice? ROFL

  • It hits you like a hammer!!! still loud and heavy

  • If, as a fan, you were always on the front row crushed against the stage when the lights dimmed..

Thin Lizzy .. Thunder & Lightning second only to

Scorpions on the Blackout Tour when Rudi,Klaus & Matthias charged out from under the Drum Riser

  • Boderline thrash at the time...Feel for Phil on a live version..Nailed it in the studio, a little tough live...Love ya Phil...John Sykes rocks....Grreat Song...

  • hell yeah, baby!!! chuggin' beer, jammin out to this full blast fuckin' RULES!!!!!!!!!!! Phil rules!!!!!!

  • All I need is All the World's a Stage, Live and Dangerous, an 18 pack of beer, a pack of smokes, a big fat joint, and i'm all set for one bad ASS saturday night.

  • Awesome song!

  • i absolutley love this song but i think this is the worst version ive heard of it ever

  • Musically yes, but stageshow is awesome. Phil sounds weird (drugs maybe?).

  • Maybe, but apparently he said that thunder and lightning was a really hard song to sing at that speed, especially live like.

  • R.I.P. Dimebags favorite Thin Lizzy song...

  • Phil sounds like he's on death's bed right here.

  • ahead of its time, i guess. (the guitarist sounds like he's channeling the spirit of michael schenker, while paving the way for kirk hammett.) but the song just isn't all that much FUN.....................

  • great band!

  • Great song, great group, great years and ofcourse great musicians. Kepp the rock alive please. Love this song. "Like thunder and lightning got damn it's so exiting"

  • Thunder and Lightning....definately my favourite Lizzy song!

  • god...damn

  • thin lizzy underated

  • Yeah.. It hits you like a hammer, god damn! Thin Lizzy is the best band ever! Just fuckin awesome..

  • U2 is great but the best musical export from Ireland is Thin Lizzy, picks you up & slams you to the ground! Awesome.

  • great fuckin song

  • I was knocked off of my feet the first time that I heard the studio version of this song!!!

  • these guitars solos are fucking off this earth!!! i'm trying to learn the last guitar solo for like years now but its just not cutting it lol!!

  • J Sykes is incredible..have to say in "Dreamworld" loved to have substituted Sykes for Viv Campbell.Viv with Sweet Savage supported Lizzy many times before going to Def Leppard and Irish! Love both players!!

  • At this point Phil was sick....I love this but it is sad that he cannot keep up. This breaks my heart as he was so fucking great

  • Yes.. he sounded winded for this song. But at the same time how many singers could do this song without huffin' and puffin'?

  • song is fuckin 10 times faster (well 3 times then) than studio version also...but Phil is not okay here.

  • great

  • Thanks ernie. This is absolute sickness!

  • Let's see it all!

  • Hell yeah!

  • If you want more vids of this concert jus ask!

  • I want it all.

  • If by any chance you're reading this please post more, specially "I Have Got To Give It Up" if you have it, Sykes kicked *ss on that on the live album!

  • lol - i'll get those vids up now - but unfortunatly they did'nt do "got to give it up" at this concert!

  • yes please!
