I was there! I'm a UT student and was able to attend the debate, and there were LOTS of people who boo'ed her, including me!
It just came across as silly and petty, especially after Obama had explained himself so well and turned the discussion back to the topic of economics.

Barack's has a solution to keep the cost of college tution down? Who would be willing to accept a $4000 credit per year, in exchange for "national service?" What does he mean by that? Is Obama going to increase the amount of active duty military by forcing those who seek his $4000 a year payoff to pay for a fraction of their college expenses?Obama has no clear solutions for our education, nor does he have a very detailed plan for the removal of troops in Iraq, or a solution to economic woes.
