This song is the most perfect in a film score: you're already running on a high level from the movie itself, but then you hear this and your brain shifts up to a whole 'nother gear you didn't even know was there. It's sad and happy at once, it inspires you, but it also is forboding. How's that for a mastercraft? Incredible.

I like the picture in this video. The intense lighting, against the Hollywood lights backdrop, to me very clearly symbolizes naive Betty's idealism, her bright dreams of stardom, and the stark, dark reality of shattered dreams in Hollywood.
