Since they started with the Tuning szene only one game was good and thats Most Waned all others were mostly not worse to play , i played all of them from NFS 1 till Pro Street and only Most Wanted catched till the end , Hope NFS Hot Pursuit isnt ruining the series totally becoz if that game fails maybee EA will buried the series . Like they done with Comand and Conquer .

I play car games, both simulation and arcade since the first hour so please, don't tell me. GRiDs physics for drifting suck, such as most other games do but there are games around that do have good physics for drifting, and those have been around for long.

I'll give you an example: Live for Speed.

I don't know ANY other sim/game that simulates driving that real. Try the demo! ;)

I have it for 2 days now, and I can guarantee you, it pwns GRiD. Period.

The physics are better, the graphics are better and the gameplay is better.

And everyone that whines about drifting being hard: suck it up, it's almost like Live for Speed (hardcore sim) and physics wise the drifting is just like real, trust me.

Need a wheel though, I use an G25 by Logitech.

Finally!!! i use a g25 ! the physics on pro are very good and without Stability control the Seat leon feels very good!!!(i have a cupra)

and without abs and tcs it feels very much like LFS and GTRevolution

Yeah, the stability control needs to be off, aswell as abs and tcs. If you put them off, it really is just like real (be sure to put steering responsiveness or whatever to 100%, I hated the delay it had on standard)

I still love Live for Speed to death though, but this game pwns GTR games, GRiD and rFactor (not even a match for shift).

This goes into my top 5 list of racing games.

Remember, this comes from a hardcore simracer/simdrifter. Trust me, it's that good!

Actually you can tune the cars but this isn't made by black box its made by midway or something like that.

you have a customizable dashboard and seat steering wheel.. its not another prostreet and i think many of us will be suprised by this game. there are races were you have to ram your opponents of the track and the new system means you get races that suite your style. Such as,,, if you ram your opponents in every race your aggressive so you get more violent races and visversa msg for more =P

A long time ago, they used to pride their physics engine code. It was hard to make a game feel as if you were driving and have realistic reactions to crashes, but it was worth it. I knew the original coders for the original games back in the nineties. I used to work in game design and met a lot of people. It was all about making it seem real. Later the game engines were sold, resold, adjusted and eventually they started making these fake games that 5 year olds could steer. EA lost touch.

ye i agree the best NFS game was the undergrounds because for 1 they had real life cars that people drive around the streets i.e pug 106, corsa's, etc then the moddin was class non of this set bodykit shit. they wrecked modding after undergound.
