  • The first one sounded the best.

  • He is such a cute kid!! OMG! I want him!! lol

  • Damn, that is a really cute baby. And smart too.

  • Big deal I say hello all the time.

  • smart boy

  • SOOO CUTE!!!

  • swivelingbowl, think before you speak.

babies are naturally born with some extra padding as a result of being nourished in the womb. and I live in america, and i've been underweight my whole life. I was born that way. don't make assumptions, it makes you seem like a close-minded fool.

anyway, this is one of the most beautiful, smart little babies i've ever seen in my life! congrats, emma! may he grow up happy and healthy.

  • aaaww that is the adorable thing i have ever seen. x

  • Oh my god! This is the cutest thing i have EVER seen! ) 0:10 I heard it! xD

  • Oh my goodness he is a sweet little cutie this makes me smile and giggle all the way through thankyou so much for sharing this! You are so fortunate to be able to see this everyday Emma :)

  • What a smart kid!!!! I think he is going to very talkative when he figures it all out, my oldest was like that and she is now 21 and still has not stopped talking....

  • dude he heas the most awesome eyes ive ever seen

  • All Babies are that way. Its how they fight of sicknesses in the first year. Ive always heard a chubby baby is a healthy baby!!

  • LOL! All babies are pretty much like that until they hit there growth spurts! I dont think you should say something like that because when you have a son or daughter you wouldnt want someone else calling your baby fat!

  • NO i would NOT let my babby be FAT i would put it on 2 per cent milk if necesary

  • all babies are chubby JUST LIKE YOU WERE ONCE WHEN YOU WERE HIS AGE! TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR LITTLE BABY PICS! and seriously, you giving your baby 2per cent milk is much worse than a mother with a fat baby! you oughta be ashamed of yourself saying that! that is so cruel! you dont deserve a precious baby! and if you do have a baby i hope it goes to a much better home! ALL BABIES DRINK MILK! AND ALL BABIES ARE LIKE THAT!

  • SwivelingBowl: you're kidding... right?

  • no am not kiddan . a babby should not be fat now or imagine how fat it will be when its old

  • he's doing yoga now

  • He should do some situps to get some pecks!

    congrats emma :-D

  • He's not fat in the slightest.... He's a baby, ever heard of Baby fat? Probably not as you are very ignorant, babies lose their 'fat' when they reach around age 3, should Emma put him on a diet? jeez.

  • Dude, babies should not be put on diets, Babies need goodness, vitamins, protein. Diets do not provide this. Especially for someone who is developing! I pity your child/future child.

  • @SwivelingBowl Just because you're probably 5 lbs soaking wet doesn't mean the rest of the world should be.

  • @SwivelingBowl I think you should be put on a diet of cyanide-laced cookies...for now.

  • ur a fucking idiot!!!!! ALL babies are "fat" u retard! it looks like a perfectly healthy baby. i really hope you're not a parent

  • Oh no, That baby is no where near over weight. And why would someone feed there 2.5 month old skim milk? When the baby needs either breast milk or formular too nourish and care for its growing bodys, and immune system? Emma, you have a gorjuz baby. SwivelingBowl or what the fuck ever, "Get a life". :) Not trying to be harsh...

  • actually, well nourished babies are born with extra fat, and it is NOT recommended that they drink skim milk because they need the all the fat they can get for proper brain development.

i think you should watch what advice your giving because you're certainly no dietitian, and if I were you I'd worry about my own diet not someone on youtube.

  • Wow,

SwivelingBowl. I hope you never have children. :(

  • Haha aww cute :D

  • Omg he's so smart! :D

  • cute

  • aww hes gorgeous x)

  • aaaaaaaaaaaw ^^ He is so sweet <3

  • that is way to cool... he is such a doll...

  • Babies pick up language continuously and there's a point where all their knowledge suddenly comes together and they seem to magically start talking fairly impressively. It'd be cool if you kept recording video and documented the process - maybe to embarrass Blake when he's older. (-:

  • Michael J. Fox Jr's doing pretty good there.

  • WOW! That's so cool! You're such a good mum.

  • i know you've heard this a million times...but blake is absolutely gorgeous. and clearly very smart! what a doll

  • Wow, that's one smart, cute baby!

  • he's so adorable! such a smart boy he is! i wonder if he'll learn to read as fast as he's learning to talk <3

  • He's aboslutley adorable!!

  • omg, can't believe he is so close to becoming a talk radio host -- with his mom's mordant wit!! (dad's too, i've noticed!)

  • How Adorable. He's doing great

  • That's amazing! What gave you the idea that you could start teaching a child to speak at his age? I assume something you read in a book? If so, what's the title?

Baby sign language? You're not going to have any need for that, are you?

  • He started babbling naturally when he hit about 8 weeks...he started mimicing all by himself really, I was changing him one time and he started to cry so I said "No, no!" to him and he repeated "Oh, oh!"...that started the "oh"s that we were doing in the other video. So now I've just been repeating other "oh"-type words to him lots, hahaha

  • That's brilliant! If you can get more amazing results, you should write an article about your methodology in a Mother's magazine or something.

I would only suggest that when he gets it right or very close to, you could give him a kiss on the cheek, understanding, of course, that he doesn't have to go through the exercise in order to get loving at most other times. heh

What's the usual age for babies to begin talking?

  • I really have no idea...I know it's pretty average for a baby to be experimenting with sounds like "p", "b", "m" at around 4 months (only because that's what the booklet for his midwife check-ups says)...my friend's baby was saying "mum" sporadically at 6 months, I'm not sure when they begin to truly understand (as opposed to just mimicing) though

  • You realize that some of us are experiencing being a new parent vicariously through you?

At 40 and poor and responsible, I think I missed the boat.

They say that if you wait until you can afford a child, you'll never have one. It's actually a service to the Western World, unless we all want to become Muslim, that is, and that might be an eventuality, at this rate, anyway.

  • He's a little smartie :) keep teaching him.

  • Aww he is gorgeous - especially his eyes!!

  • Ohhhh so precious!

  • OMG CHILD EXPLOTATION

He's cute, for now. When he reaches 15 you'll know what I mean.

  • Ya spend the first 12 months of their life teaching them to walk and talk and spend the next 18 years telling them to sit down and shut up, right? lol

  • OH if you know about that then I'm sure you're going to be a good mother.

  • he is really clever!!! congrats!

  • This is amazing, I've never seen a baby that age mimic sounds so well

  • oh man, he's so close to saying it. that's fantastic.. oh dear.. would this be considered as child explotation? oh good god. lol.
