I saw the remake. It was prety good - it was even true to the original short story by Stephen King (I own two copies of the story - one from "Night Shit" and the other from "Stephen King Goes To The Movies" so I should know). But it will never be as legendary as the original But this remake - among being one of the better remakes out there is now tied as my second favorite film of the COTC franchise. 4/5
@TheSunmanho Wrong. The director of the original was Fritz Kiersch. The director of the remake is Donald P. Borchers, who produced but did not direct the original. And if anything, the 1984 Children of the corn isn't the original. 1983 actualy was when the first adaptation came out under the title of the short film, "Deciples of the Crow". So there.
