which took me like 2 months to figure our that the M1 A1's gun is a 120 mm, bc i kept finding reliable sources that said 150mm but then others saying 120mm, then i talked to a ex tanker and he said its a 120mm

Not so reliable haha. I love tanks, and Ive done ALOT of research on them, most NATO tanks have a 120mm AT gun, and most eastern tanks have a 150mm. 120s have a higher penetration ability and take less room in the tank, they also tend to have a much longer range than the 150. 150s pretty much just have a higher "blunt" damage capability, which is deadly toward infantry in biuldings and defensive fortifications, however against tanks with the 120 they can prove slightly outunned.

As I understand, it was just a test from a C-17. It barely fits in a C-130. The Sheridan could be and was carried, and airdropped operationally from C-130, C-141 , or LAPES extracted. Air mobility was one of the prime reasons for creating the stryker program.
