We used to eat here quite often with my family, and Bud is a real character. Very cool guy with a great sense of humor. Everything they have at that restaurant from the world famous pecan pie(best I've ever eaten) to the steak and mashed potato casserole are all just amazing!

Ate here today, waited  close to two hours, went to the antique shops, had beer and nachos at a really nice pub across the way, They sat 8 of us at the same table, the food was amazing, Larry and I had the shrimp BLT, they give you hot fresh rolls with garlic butter and applebutter while you wait for your food-the lady across from me had prk chops-amazing-the lady next to me had grilled salmon-i got a bite of that-perfect. And then the PIE! Everyone of us had a diff piece of pie. To die for!

Folks, the pie is great , but the filet mignon is the best I've ever had. Be ready to open your wallet, but you will not regret it! Btw, it's ALL good.

Ok, I can personally tell ya Royers is the BEST!!!!!!! They catered my wedding which, of course, we had in Round Top, even though we live in Houston area!!!!! Totally unbelievable and everyone who attended the wedding still raves about the food!!! Plus, my dad, who travels everywhere on business thinks Royers is the BEST restaurant around!!!! VOTE for Royers or if you are bored DRIVE to Royers and see for yourself!!! You WILL come back!!!!! Bud, Tara and the rest of the crew YOU ROCK!!!

The Best Pies we've even eaten. I ordered 6.They arrived in NY 100% perfectly,exactly on the date & the communication once I placed my PIE order was reassuring and delightful (despite that I called them cakes & not pies , SORRY Bud) The Buttermilk pie was my personal favorite. But the biggest surprise is that you got my husband to eat lemon pie:) He NEVER touched lemon anything , you had him at the first bite. Each pie was the perfect bite of yum.Thank you.
