  • what bike you got mate?

  • You can't beat the north face trail at grizedale its MINT 👸👸💂

  • Nice I rode this recently and you made it look so easy :) great riding and this is a pretty sick course for experienced riders, the cam doesnt do the difficulty of this run justice as is often the case with these trail cam feeds.

  • I've just been my first time, and its sick

  • what helmet cam do u use it has good quality

  • looks good but easy. red route is it?

  • this route looks pretty awesome, gonna do it sometime. just come off farleton today though

  • this is not any downhill track this is just a regular freeride track

  • the north loop rocks :-)

  • how long does both the north and the south loop take to do in good weather??

  • I did the north loop the week before last on a hardtail - nowhere near as fast as this descent but I smoked uphill sections!

Best quality Whinlatter footage I've seen.

  • excellent video mate one of best quality ever seen!

  • yer its really good but fell off hahaha

  • yer its really good but fell off hahaha

  • yer its really good but fell off hahaha

  • Tidy bit of footage there slat, what was that text about like?

  • how long does it take to do the full route or is that the full route ?

  • just done north loop today, AWESOME.

  • Any snow up there still? done it a few weeks ago and there was a fair bit in places

  • Why, I used to come down there on my 'Penny Farthing'

  • were are they m8 ?

  • Whinlatter Forest Park

  • do you need a ful sus to go on this i hv a hardtail dh rig and was just wondering as i am riding this trail at the weekend

  • hardtail is fine, ride smooth, have a good one!!!

  • yea good trail and all, but its not really a dh section! but good video anyway!!

  • It's the 'Whinlater Downhill section'

  • it's pointing down, therefore it's the downhill section, as opposed to the uphill section....

  • that's one well ridden bit of video.. nice one mate.

  • dude that looks awesome. i'm there!

  • Bought a mountain bike a couple of weeks ago and this was the first ever trail I did. I went over the handle bars earlier on up the trail but this bit was great fun, even though I didn't tear down it like in the video.

  • Just did this today.....and found it extremely slippy. Looks like you had more fun than we did....:)

  • yeah, thats the thing about whinlatter - it's lethal in the wet! This last section is more of a manufactured surface though and it doesnt get anywhere near as slippy as the rest of the trail

  • 1:37 done this bit 5 times this triple always catches me out cos its small and hard to see

  • prefer the proper trails up there to the centres stuff ya!

  • Can get very busy on the weekends, compared to the other staines on the borders. Is best allround red trail in cumbria/ borders though. Wide downhill part on south loop still needs time to bed in as there is alot of loose rocks. More videos coming this summer slat? Il show you a trick or two ;)

  • Looks great & i really wanna do it but its a three an a half hour drive!!!! Is it worth it ???

  • I enjoy it, but it is just on my doorstep. I would say definetly ride it if your near. Come up for the w/end and do whinlatter and a 7Stanes or take in sum of the lake district. Whinlatter is probably my favourite trail plus there is usually a good bit of crack (banter). It got a good write up in MBR aswell. Recommended, just dont be put offby the climbs it is meant to be a proper mountain bikers trail. If any one has any dealings with cyclewise see the irish lad, the other guy is abit arrogant.

  • Yeah, thanks for that. It looks like a w/end is the best option. How busy does it get on w/ends?

  • you could stay up 1 night near winlatter then go up near the 7stanes for a few night to give you a good time 2 try all of the good ones. - Kirroughtree, dalbeattie, mabie and ae.( glentress and innerliethen are aboout 2 hours from the central stanes!

  • Thanx. Looks like a w/end stay seems the best option. Really does look a great ride though!

  • no its not worth it

  • Excellent vid mate, wasn't sure it's worth a 3hr drive there but after that, think I might give it a go! Cheers.

  • yeah its a nice trail, the south loop is great aswell! have fun

  • Great vid, looks like a lot of fun :)

  • dude rode it myself lst week .cool trailwat camera do u use.cus ive put mine on you tube and its come out nowere near as clear as yours.got any advise braa.

  • I used a Digital camera strapped to my helmet seems to be better than most helmet cams.

  • new downhill.second phase open 1st december 2008

  • yep not a bad line realy lots of pedal work to keep ap at speed and one or two badly set out jumps and humps in the middle ( to short )dut still lots of fun for beginers

  • Nice work! Just rode this today, had a great time. I think you are faster than me though :)

  • that the new atura trail there?

  • the 1st part of it, the 2nd part of it is open in october i think, apparently its meant to have different paths leading off, one path will be easy 2nd, medium and 3rd hard. so it should be good!

  • Fuji Film + MET x Sellotape = Fantastic results²
