@y4juhty As you get older your hearing range decreases. If you're young, you should be able to hear up to a max of about 20kHz. But now, your ears have stopped detecting the higher pitches, and you'll now be limited to about 10kHz. It's considered normal for hearing ranges to decrease.

Also, you need EQ boost to make anything below 20 Hz audible. I've used a synthesizer to test various bass amps and without boost, only a sine wave is audible, and even barely. Also, below 14 Hz is not physically audible - it's only noticeable with a floor-mounted vibrator.
