  • Love the car, but still a Bentley fan at heart (;

  • Horrible design

  • We Germans are the bes carbuilders if i see that °-°

  • @AMGWerkeAffalterbach GERMANY IS THE KING OF WORLD IN ANY FILLED !

  • i dont get it how ppl dis like this video

  • This car - I painted it Disa in 1987. Sketches were made on the pages of bmagi school notebook in a cage, painted a graphic pencil - separately: rear lights (rear view), a separate body - the body of the driver's side front lights, ... I live in Pennza - in Russia. My name is Anton Alexandrovich, surname Koryagin, I am 35 years old - now and then when I painted this car I was 14. Sketches of the car .. I have given (to someone I do not remember ..) e-mail: vaz21123alllroad@mail.ru

  • its soo simple

  • ugly car. i would rather have a rolls

  • it's not one of the world most exclusive cars,

IT IS indeed the most exclusive car on the white-blue planet!

  • Mercedes Maybach Zeppelin !!!! Best car ever made!!! 640bhp, +300km/h, +600 000euro

  • It is just a car!

  • supraexcellent........its a real beauty production of mercedes!

  • If one could combine the outside metal body of a RR Phantom with the technology in and out of a Maybach, you get the car of the century.

  • i came

  • The only thing good about the phantom is it's grill, once you walk around the rest of the car it's pretty ugly. And dont get me started on the interior compared to the Maybach...So please...dont compare the phantom to the Maybach.

  • ya the interior of the phantom is so plain and boring . maybach is sexy

  • PLEASE INOVATEEEEEE MAKE A DIFRENT CAR! MAKE A GOOD ONE PLEASEE! New Roulls RR4 it soooo much better looking...

  • how can any one compare low american cars & strange looking japanese cars like lexus which copy all german technology..the maybach is a master piece...i think you would buy a lexus because you ill never afford a maybach in your life time....besides check the numbers of reliability before talking..

besides now american cars is too cheap, & junck & lack any technology..& safety is rubbish

  • Made by MERCEDES...

  • Oh yea, Maybach is made by Mercedes and... it look exactly like one, specially as a huge S series. LOL

  • ¬¬ -> Made by MERCEDES, shame shame, Maybach made possible Mercedes and if you look carefully, Maybach engines are from Maybach development

  • Maybach development?

Maybach has rebaged engines by Mercedes Benz.

It's like to say: Ford & Mercury.

  • NO, no no. Ford and Mercury is Like Mercedes and AMG. Maybach And Mercedes is Like BMW and Royce.

  • AMG isnt a company its a brand of mercedes

  • that's why it's Beautiful

  • In Germany the Maybach is a bad seller -

    Phantom outflakes the Maybach

  • bin autofan

  • wow all that and its still cheaper than a veyron

  • By the way, i hear a lot of complains like.......

Omg european cars are so expensive to maintain......

YEah they might be, but thats because you have to use high quality items such as... "moble 1" oil for example.

I have a Saab 900 turbo, almost at 350 and still going strong. Most of the people who bitch at prices really dont even dont take care of their car. thats why the cars break and all i hear is bitching.

Im sorry the Europeans make "driver enthusiast cars" and not mass produced shit.

  • i love that british guy much more than that other moron with the strange voice.

bring him over here full time, and away from sky!

  • beautiful car..but that price is insane $500,000 to $600,000 US

WOW, thats like the price of my parents house.

  • well it is practically a hotel room on wheels :)

  • That is one of the fugliest cars I've ever seen!

  • so ugly

  • weak. the phantom looks waaay better

  • you dont want a car thats called Zeppelin o_O

  • terrible "thing"

  • Another Amazing car by Maybach. The most comfortable and luxurious cars in the world. Riding in one is like visiting a relax center. Everywhere you go, you always feel fresh when arriving.

  • no matter how rich i was i would still drive myself around. not sit back in my maybach or roles. well... actually if i planned to get wasted i would have a driver. nevermind this comment means nothing lol

  • You guys are so stupid! People with 600,000$ don't buy this car! People with 600,000,000$ buy it! And they don't give a shit how much it costs! Of course if an average mortal like me had 500,000$ i wouldn't buy it! I'd go on a cruise or something, but if i had 100 times more i'd probably buy one... or two.

  • If I had a $100 Million, I would buy this car... It looks awesome!

  • dident the Zeppelin crash a burn in a horrible tragedy that killed 100s. never mind that was the Hindenburg.

  • 500 000$ i think i rather go on a trip around the world then buy that car

  • that is a very attractive looking car

  • I'll take 2 for now and one for later lol

  • 1:17 CHEAP!

  • It cost like 1 million something not 500 000...

  • I thought this was headlined "zeppelin" because maybach has crashed and burned. aren't they having trouble selling these things?

  • So, if you have more money than God and want everyone to know it, this is the car for you. It will afford you the over the edge opulance that will let you gloat over all those underprivlidged people driving their Rolls Royces. Sure, they got Grey Poupon, but you got a perfume atomizer.

Me, I'll just slum it in a Chevy thank you very much.

  • Clap, Clap, Clap.

I wouldn't trade my '67 Chevy II for that hunk of junk.

  • Do you know how many of those Evergreen scent car fresheners I could get instead of that perfume thing?

    A LOT.

    Like more than 1,000.

  • I don't understand the people who go crazy over this overpriced garbage. Toyota Avalon, Lexus LS600h L, Lincoln Town Car, Chevrolet Impala and Cadillac STS pretty must have all the neccessay things you expect from an executive car.

But I guess, those filthy rich fools only go after those "luxurious" "European" brands after all....which is shame.

  • 95% of American cars suck on European roads (i'm afraid that includes Cadillac), and most over here also prefer merc, audi etc to the jap equivalents- European cars are said to be more enjoyable to drive and have better interiors + design.

i do agree that this Maybach is a bit much tho lol - some ppl just want exclusivity.

  • I can't disagree. But well, 95% of American cars? Looks like you don't know much about American cars, Ford has been doing pretty well these days, and Chevy Malibu is now considered to be as good as Camry or even better.

The more people just prefer European cars because of, pretty much the big price tag and the stereotype that is called European superiority...which is the idea that all European brands are perfect. And sadly many people on earth have this deluded idea.

  • yup true ford does sell fairly well over in Europe, note however most of those cars are specifically made for the European market. People are well aware of the faults of many European cars, which is why small jap cars sell well here too. The reason people buy small European cars over jap cars is often coz they normally look a better not coz of 'European superiority'. but in the v-luxury sector Merc BMW and audi are well ahead of any American competition overall, and lexus is just a soulless car

  • If Lexus is soulless, then so is Mercedes-Benz. It's not like many females prefer Mercedes just because it has some soul or whatever, it's all because of its badge.

And the European superiority idea is widely accepted by many people around the world, and just like you said Lexus is soulless, people who don't know much about cars automatically ignore the American and Japanese cars and patronize the European brands like they are all complete perfection.

  • well ok you have a different opinion to me, which is not unexpected with you living in a different part of the world + your screen name. There is a Huge difference between merc and lexus, anywho i dont want to argue i know plenty about cars and i know what i like, im sure your the same.

  • Of course there is a huge difference between Mercedes and Lexus, Lexus has been getting so many awards for customer services, reliability and quality, when Mercedes S class was rated the most unreliable car by some magazine in 2005 and 2006. And even today, Mercedes quality is still no better than average on Consumer Reports. And yet, more people still buy Merc all because of? European superiority. There is no other reason for this, and that is the truth.

  • god, like i said, we have different opinions so let it rest - but if you want my 'truth' there is a hell of a lot more to a car than just reliability - which is the whole reason lexus is not more popular than it is - it does not have any character, European cars have bags of character as do American cars. note the reason merc build quality droped was coz of the merge with chrysler lol now that they have split things are getting better again, the new models are a far better than prev gen.

  • merging with Chrysler has nothing to do with anything since Mercedes was the one who bought Chrysler. Or are you saying Mercedes had no technologies, so they had to learn everything from Chrysler?

Lexus LS600h L was the only luxury full-size sedan with hybrid engine. and if Lexus was not created, you would be seeing Mercedes and all other Euro cars falling apart everywhere on the roads. Toyota knew it, that's why they put efforts on making reliable luxury cars.

    So my truth, is right.

  • cant be arsed giving an american a history lesson now, but yeah what ever keeps you happy man, enjoy you classy jap and American cars...

  • See? This is what happens when a Eurocar fanboy gets broken down on debate. You lost, kid, but you did try, so I honor you for that.

  • hahaha ok man - but just so you know i like many jap cars, nissan gtr for eg, but lexus i hate, and i even admire some american cars, they just dont work on europe on the whole. your the one who discrominates (against europae). merc, audi and bmw are successful for more than just your 'superiority idea' which is why people buy them in europe. ok i really got to get back to work so will have to ignore any further replies.

  • I love Europe. I only said the people have that kind of fixed idea.

  • That's the stupidest crap I've ever seen...the S-class wins in comparos with the LS EVERYTIME...you lost all respect with "you would be seeing Mercedes and all other Euro cars falling apart everywhere on the roads"

  • He's right about Lexus being souless..

  • Keep driving those Eurocars that are only capable of falling apart.

  • I have an IS250 and our family has had many Lexus vehicles over the last 10 years. Never had a European car. Also had/have some Fords and Lincolns

  • Then please tell me what you meant about this Lexus being soulless. Lexus is soulless, and yet, Mercedes is full of souls? Where did that come from.

  • IT's boring to drive, just dull. Nothing special or engaging about it. I don't know about Mercedes. I test drove a VW GTI and had a blast....I don't know what it was but it just gave me a great feeling driving it. But I wasn't saying that only European car are full of soul, I was just saying that Lexus are boring.

  • Very fair enough. That's a good argument there.

But I'd rather drive Honda Civic Si or Corolla XRS than Volkswagen. I mean...come on, Volkswagen? No way.

  • We've owned a Mercedes and 2 Saabs. Both were utter shit. Always breaking down and expensive to maintain. Since then we've had a Mazda 626 (the best car ever!), and now I currently own a Daewoo Lacetti. Yep, a Korean car and its been absolutely fantastic in terms of reliabily and economy. I will never again return to one of the Euro marques. Even my best friend owns a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera and has had to take it in 7 times so far for insanely squeaky brakes! I'd steer clear.

  • well I know most European cars can be a pain after 4 years(warranty period). I especially heard that after the warranty is up, cars like VW, Audi and BMW are really expensive to maintain. The squeaky brakes doesn't sound like an issue to me, there are a bunch of recalls on my IS250 but they're all minor...like dusty or squeaky or both - front brakes, or dash rattle, or shaky rear view mirror...I only had the dusty brakes but it's really not an issue.

  • You may say its not really an issue but my friend is losing a lot of sleep over it. After forking out $250,000 to buy the car you wouldn't expect problems like that. Once again my Mazda and Daewoo have been running fine for years now without a single problem and both cost me under $15,000 each.

  • 250K for a Porsche? Where does he live and what kind is it? That's way more expensive than what they are in the states..

  • By the way the Koreans are "master Coppiers" meaning they have no reasearch and development. All they simply do it buy a bmw and "reverse engineer it to perfection.

This is why they are cheap to build, inturn making them cheap to buy.

Also these cars are death traps and usualy go about 200,000 miles top.

I have 2 saabs, both over 290 thousand and still pwning jap/korean cars like yours

(if you dont like working on your car yourself) you usualy buya Japanees/Korean.

    American/German=win

  • My car recieved a four star Euro NCAP rating, so don't be calling it a death trap. I have owned 2 Saabs in my lifetime and nothing you say is going to change my mind about the fact that they are shitty cars with many faults. I have experienced it myself. Honda and Mazda obviously know how to produce a better car then the Swedes do.

  • Continued:

I can't say as much for Daewoo as I have only owned the car for a year, but so far, not a single problem. If you want to see who the "master copiers" and "death traps" really are, google some chinese automakers.

  • Also, it's only in recent years that the quality of the Euros have dropped and problems and reliability issues have surfaced. Mercedes-Benz even admitted it themselves about their own vehicles.

  • "those euro cars that are only capable of falling apart"? You have any idea what you are talking about? Euro cars are not the usual korean krap which most people like to buy because of some stupid reason.

  • I'm talking out of my experience and my other friends'. And Korean cars like Hyundai always gets very good ratings on reliability, so do your homework first and then start talking about the cars. Because obviously you have some fantasy.

  • I do have fantasy about such machines which are crafted with perfection and the passion for products meant for oligarchs, which sadly the koreans dont. I dont understand why do you want to even drag the koren cars into the reliability comparison when the Japanese guys are way ahead than them. I dont need to do any home work. Just like you, even I am speaking from my experience through other friends and their reivews. Thanks for the quick reply though.

  • Yes, just keeping this fantasy without knowing any sort of reality situations only makes you blind, and you will only end up living with false fantasy till the end. Perfection? Passion for products? Is that why Mercedes quality was the worst of all car brands in 2006? Even Mercedes admitted that their quality has declinded so badly.

And since you don't know much about the Korean cars, Hyundai Genesis Coupe is one great car, and Hyundai reliability is at least far better than Mercedes.

  • Really sad to hear such crazy things about korean cars from you. You do have knowledge which is wrong. Checkout the J.D Power ratings....#1 was lexus and Mercedes was not even in first 10 positions but it was still way too far from Hyundais....so stop praising the krap stuff

  • Okay, JD powers is first of all, not the only source that examines the cars, and when you look at the Consumer Reports, many Korean cars at least get better than average ratings on reliability when Mercedes fails to get even "average".

I'm not even a fan of Korean cars myself, but the truth is just like that, and don't blame it on me for it. Just deal with it.

But obviously you wanna keep such stereotype yourself in order to make yourself feel better. Go ahead, I'm not stopping you.

  • Your'e right, but the level of a customers expectations has a lot to do with it.

People exect a Mercedes or an Audi to be so much better than a cheap korean car, therefore thy have to perform miles better to impress their owners.

Secondly, if a Porche Boxter, scores well in a survey, it dose not necessarily mean that its a good car, It just means Boxter drivers are sad little people who have nothing better to do with their time. Ok i know the boxter is a fine car, but you know what I mean.

  • Yes, sir, you are absolutely right. But you know, the real problem is when there are so many people who expect so much from those luxury German cars or whatever, many of them end up having bad issues with the car, and many of them can even end up bringing their cars to dealership for so many times. In fact, when I first time saw the Mercedes' reliability rating on Consumer Reports in 2006, I was shocked, because it was the most unreliable brand of all brands. And then I started realizing..

  • Thats just plain non-sence.

    Do your researsch mate.

The longest lasting car of all time was a mercedes S-class diesel that was used by an italian cab driver in Italy.

Its currently in the Diamler AG museum in GErmany.

Not only did "Maybach, and Diamler"

invent the car and basiclyevery thing pertaining to it. They also simply make the best still today.

Those quality reports are rubbish, talk to real mercedes owners. (not just rich idiots who never even taken a look under thier hood)

  • the longest lasting car? Well, fill me in more, how is the mileage? And if that's in a museum, then it looks like the car is like super old car then, I was not talking about the old cars, buddy, learn to read. I only talked about the recent Mercedes cars, not the old ones.

And Daimler making the first cars does not mean anything today when their quality has declided so badly.

  • Yeah in recent terms i can see what your talking about.

But even companies like Cadillac now make thier cars super complicated inturn making things more likely to fail.

    (just how mercedes is now)

    I mean think about this.

Whats more reliable a standard tooth brush or a electric pulsating top of the line one?

Proly the standard plastic one yes?

    well Mercedes/BMW/Cadillac/Audi/Saab

etc....... all make thier cars more complicated and thier for theres more things to go wrong. you see?

  • Oh, I have nothing against that. But let me tell you something, Mercedes is not some cheap Chinese car, it is supposed to be a luxury brand(and that's why it is so expensive), so Mercedes obviously has to do whatever they can to bring up their quality like Porsche did. Porsche learned from Toyota so that they can make more reliable cars. And well, sometimes some Porsche cars are more reliable than Toyota cars, but Mercedes or BMW? pshh..they need to learn from Toyota one or two.

  • you are changing your word. I only wanted to prove that euro cars are really not as bad as the korean ones....and you are the one who does not want to understand what I am saying at all. So, how can I explain what I want to say to you. Am speaking facts related to J.D Power customer survey, that too after sales customer care and service related, and what source are you talking about? Did you personally survey atleast a 1000 customers of European cars and Korean cars ?

  • Hm, no, I was talking about the Consumer Reports if you didn't notice already. And even Forbes. And the Euro cars are NOT supposed to be just as good as Korean cars in the first place, they are supposed to be as good as completely Toyota reliability. After all, isn't that what all those European car buyers EXPECT? I was one of them, you know? So I know what I am talking about.

  • I totally agree with you when you compare the reliability of Toyota or Honda etc with other cars. But when you said that Hyundai or Korean cars were better than euro cars...thats when things started going wrong. Can you show me 1 single car made by Korea which can perform atleast as good as or better than Mercedes C class, well to be honest C class is even a lower standard for me coz people in Turkey and other European cars use the E Class as cabs to I want to hear which Korean car is better...

  • One more time, when I said the Korean cars were better, it simply meant that the Korean cars have better reliability than most of European cars. The Korean automakers do not really care about performance for now, but Genesis Coupe has shown that they are ready for some performance.

And if I choose to own a Euro car, which would not happen, I would not drive C class or E class due to their bad reliability ratings and they look cheap in my area.

  • So, you say that Mercedes C and E class look cheap in your area and you prefer Korean cars to the European cars, seems like am talkin to a guy with wrong taste then......Later you may say Rolls Royce Phantom looks cheap and say KIA is good. Good luck. Anyways, which area are you talking about when you say that Mercedes C and E class look cheap, are you somewhere in Swiss Alps, coz I saw only cars which were more than a 100,000 USD approx in a Swiss resort.

  • ok, it looks like your English is not even a first language, so you don't understand what I am talking about. Mercedes being cheap issue is a completely separate issue from the Korean cars, and it literally means there are TOO MANY people driving C and E classes here. And it's Canada. That's why whenever you see C or E classes, people don't even care, because I see too many of them. Lexus GS and LS look more rare around here, and I wouldn't take a Korean car or European car both, kid.

  • Ok, so you dont know what you like and you are simply trying to prove something that I you think I dont know. I just cant understand with which car you have a problem and your choice either.

  • Good, now you speak some sense......but my only humble request to you is to not to insult european cars.... :-)

  • I always have been talking sense, and you merely did not understand it. And insulting the European cars is merely my own freedom of speech, and it is not my fault that the European automakers can not make cars. It is simply their fault, and I can tell you this because I have had a bad experience with BMW, and my buddy's Mercedes ML was a pure junk. As a consumer myself, the European automakers have failed to produce quality cars, so they get ZERO respect from me. Period.

  • Well, your experiences are quite just the opposite from mine. I respect your freedom of speech though.

  • Yes, that may be the best thing for you.

  • "Toyota Avalon, Lexus LS600h L, Lincoln Town Car, Chevrolet Impala and Cadillac STS pretty must have all the neccessay things you expect from an executive car."

You seriously have no idea what you are talking about. At least don't compare cars you've never sat in.

  • Okay, then please tell me how special about those cars you love, and at the same time, never sat in before.

  • Avalon, Impala, Town Car, STS exec cars? I think not!

  • how much is this car. Never heard of this car company

  • the car is US$14,000 dollars.

  • lol

  • in Germany that's like 29,000 francs, right?

  • The car costs way more. like 15 times more. And Germany has been using Euros for years, just like most other European countries...

  • no you third world douche. things cost more in america. but just a bit more. this car is around 500 grand. (yes 5 zeros)

  • quicksilver, you're so smart! you must be from canaDUH.

  • Ya ironic HUH?

i know more than a trailer trash american EH?

14,000 dollars. lol. u cant get a civic with that

  • Oh ye the perfume disperser costs 3500$ :P

  • lol

  • actually the US honda civic is comparable to the canadian mercedes benz S-class.

  • Oh god. ok im done with this.

ur obviously a person who doesnt understand luxery and class. whatever your choice.

  • More exclusive car from and exclusive car?

    Wow! Nice move.

  • Wow that's quite the price tag for a simple name, I find this car gross and badly designed. It might have a lot of great quality materials, but I find its aesthetic beauty to be lacking immensely. Ugly ugly car.

  • Thats not true -.- It's your meaning, yes, but nearly everybody who likes cars would say something other. my meaning.

btw great and beautiful car :D

  • Hot luxury cars like that color.

  • $600,000? I better only get two then.

  • lol

  • WOW such a Beautiful Car
