Quite pretty. They seem to have that little candy house look. Didn't see any big santas or bad attempts of Christmas tree. The worst Christmas Tree in the world must be Taylor Square in Darlinghust. It looks like something Count Vlad would shove up the Turks, or the English shoved up Edward II. I digress. Pretty dolls house lights of Aukland.

reminds me of the "Roseanne" episode "White Trash Christmas" where they have the most "tasteful" lights in the street. I love the ending.

Thanks. I used to love Roseanne. I love Franklin Road as there is such a wonderful atmosphere there and the residents work together :)

I am sure it is a lot nicer than the Roseanne lights - we in Germany generally have the tasteful white lights - not usually too many and very few characters - which is also a relief.

Well it is the home of the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market) which is a wonderful institution.

Every town in Germany has one - even a little town I teach in 50 km from Bielefeld - it has a week long Christmas Market with Glühwein - that is the important part.

Sadly they do not seem to do it in central Sydney or central London. I think Franklin Road has done Auckland and New Zealand proud :)
