  • whats a rep ?

  • nice dude..thx

  • he got this completely backwards. a farther apart grip works the inside head more while a close grip works the outer head more. besides that great vid

  • thanks for the good tutorial. You're a fuckin beast btw i'd be happy to just be half your size man

  • your not going to get much results using 5 pounds lol

  • @kingdaleclarke It's a demonstration, he's trying to show you the correct form. Use your brain.

  • steroids

  • @Calientee55 i know all the guys who are big use steroids lol

  • wrap your thumbs.

  • wtf is he talking about you can go check anywhere close grip puts more stress on the outter head......what an idiot on steroids.

  • @Marticorena44 You are absolutely right. Wide grip = inner bicep. Close grip= outer bicep (the one you see when you flex)

  • @niggazbeatdown1 good luck,

  • ITS CARLTON!

  • Why people think other people are on steroids is becuase those same people (Alot of people(s) ) don't know shit about Natural Body Building. If this dude was on steroids he's be ronnie coleman size..

  • @UsedUpDope247 not really, i know many on roids but none like ronnie.

  • see, that's a body worth fighting for..

    what a nice body..

  • REPLY

Whats the difference between HIS weight lifting and body building exercises?

I'm speaking as results wise, don't they both make you strong also bigger?

  • Man, people are so fucking cynical these days, not everyone's on steroids.

  • Who cares if he took steroids. I bet this guy looks better than 90% of you fatfucks behind ur monitor

  • F that. I do 5-5

  • TELL US TOO HOW MUCH STEROIDS DID YOU GET

    TO BECOME SO HUGE . . .

  • @roboroschi lol steroids? huge?? this guys too small to be on roids lmao

  • @fostexz

Son, you don't need to take it like a Mr. Olympia.

Even a little quantity can give you a body like this guy . . .

  • @roboroschi you said "how much steriods did you get to become so huge", implying that he is like jacked up on roids and got massive, he has a great physique but that doesnt mean he has to be on roids

  • @fostexz

    You're right.

    I beg you pardon.

By the way, he took steroids.

    How much, i don't know.

  • wat do u mean to tear down the muscle and then give it ay recover time to Grow ! ! ???

  • @TheChiefHOUSTON because thats how you build muslce?

  • @niggazbeatdown1 me too but not with steroids , by the way im very close!

  • 3 parts mate brachii long head and short head

  • leave it to expert village to fuck something up. u have no idea

  • Ur taking steroids...

  • I used 2 lift 20KGB but when i watch ur video I stopd. in ur vieo u say lighter weight will build ur muscle

  • @raxiboy2050 Use low weight with an extreme amount of reps to get the biggest muscles, if you want strength and still a bit of muscle, you should probably go with 4-6 with 3 sets :)

  • @Nils3OWN

    thax mate for replying

  • I know how to speak I just did not check what I send.

Im from uk & my english if fine.

Ijust dont know how to buld the body

and tell me how many dayormonth do i need to sick with that wight to get big musclr plz mate

  • @raxiboy2050 watch scoobies bodybuilding

  • @raxiboy2050 improve your english first, that would help severely. and first of all that's really soft, do more than 5kg... that's pathetic(no offense) try atleast 20kg now.

  • why do you put your thumbs at the side ?

  • He forgot to mention 1 fundamental rule of "biceps-ing". Pull your shoulder blades back as possible, and push your chest out! Your elbows will physically not be able to move forward. However if they do move forward as you're curling up then you're working your anterior deltoids, which means you're not lifting the weight you just grabbed with your biceps.

  • Bro I have that exact same weight bench. I got it like 2 years ago when i was 14. i love bodybuilding.i am 16 now my maxes are Bench= 200 Squat=325 Leg press=650 dumbell bench=75lbs dumbells deadlift= 345

  • @niggazbeatdown1 then get to work!!

  • @niggazbeatdown1 yeah about 190-195 lbs

  • Whoa Carltons gotten pretty ripped since the Fresh Prince!

  • I have found that if you do barbell curls with the bar dragging on your body that a person can really feel it in the biceps, this was one exercise that Vince Gironda advocated, of course you have to lower the weight but you hit the biceps for sure.

  • I saw another video of barbell curl, the guy said that with the hands close in you work the outer head, now who is correct, your saying it works the inner head

  • Which muscle makes up most of the mass or your arm?? triceps or biceps?

    thanks if anyone answers.

  • @HypnoSpin tricep

  • @HypnoSpin Biceps and fore-arms.

Do Reverse and Regular Bicep Curls.

  • @HypnoSpin triceps = 2/3 upperarm mass

  • @HypnoSpin Triceps All The Way Bro. Most People Make The Mistake Of Thinking Its Bi's.

You Want Huge Arms, You Want To Fill Out Your Shirts? Tricep Pushdowns & Skullcrushers ;)

  • @Pride1of1london thank you very informative :)

  • @HypnoSpin Most Welcome :)

  • Thanks carlton :D

  • Thats bad for your wrists

  • @niggazbeatdown1 HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

  • @niggazbeatdown1 you need use many steroids and many years

  • Your all wrong. There is no such thing as the inner and outer head. There is the bicep and the brachialis, hammer curls and exercises that work the lifting motion with a vertical grip hit the brachialis and bicep is hit with underhand grip.

  • @jadsuckme You'd know all about head wouldn't you @jadsuckme? You give it to young boys all the time. You tryhard. @jadsuckme is just a sorry little man who can diss people but can't take it when he cops it back. @jadsuckme is a wimp and will ALWAYS be a wimp you fucking tryhard

  • @jadsuckme That`s why it`s called a BIcep, you f*cking moron! It`s a muscle with 2(repeat: TWOOO) heads. Ditto for triceps.

PS: It`s good to have brains even for bodybuilding ;)

  • @cMaXeJIJIo ...Have some basic knowledge on the human body you brainless goon, go get an education. What I said is not opinion, it is a fucking fact.

  • @jadsuckme Actually, it is YOUR opinion. You better read an anatomy book and finish high school before getting into discussions such as this, boy xD

In the meantime-just use google and don`t embarrass yourself...

  • @cMaXeJIJIo ikr

  • but inner part is long..not short..

  • like it and you too

  • why do big guys lift pathetic small weights in these vids

  • @YuckyMucky15 cuz it's an instructional video dumbass, just wanna show how to do it right, not to show off

  • @YuckyMucky15 cuz they want to give the "illusion" of "good form"..when you know they the first one swinging and beasting on the gym lol

  • His triceps are sickening.

  • is he natural?

  • i dont know why but i dont like his body

  • @Dodo5981 coz your a dodo

  • i would not wanna start a fight with this dude

  • @cooperobriant1 he looks like a pussy to me, hes not even big by the way...

  • @romanzbawiciel you look a pussy to me

  • @cooperobriant1 youre the one that said hes scared of him, so I would consier you for a bigger pussy than me definetely. and if you wanna see big guys look at coleman, this guy on this vid is nothing compared to him.

  • u got nice arm! good work

  • plz can i know how many kg are?

  • @DaRkShInE87ita Hard to say, looks like 5 kg bar + 2 ,5 kg weights I think, you are not going to get huge curling these kinds of weights, this is more for show

  • @niggazbeatdown1 thats what i said

  • I love close grip on my bar - really works out my head.

  • @MrDosz well depends on if its easy for you...if its heavy then try a few (2/3) sets of 8. if you want mass move up in weight...definition takes more reps..for both find yourself a good weight balance

  • Try the barbell curl challenge at Konkura.com

  • WAY to fail.. nice form the shoulder and elbow need to be in a straight line and your elbow should not move that will increase the overall effect of this exercise BUT this works the long head (outside bicep, the part on top that makes the upper ball) NOT the short head (being the inside the part that balls toward your body

  • fucking tank

  • How much that barbell weight without any plates ?

  • @haris949

    I think usually 180cm is 8kg and 120cm is 6kg.

  • I've been doing this exercise without warming my legs, and I injured my knee.Don't do my mistake.

  • Agree with jrpimpdog. This person has an impressive look, but is very ignorant.

  • chuck some more weight on there man lol

  • Retard close grip inside?????????????

  • jrpimpdog is correct. The exercise works the OUTside of the biceps. Not the inside. Electromyograph testing has confirmed that. Never listen to any "expert " advice this guy gives out. He is the village idiot at expertvillage.

  • i thought what he was doing makes your bicep by your elbow look more cut

  • you liftin them small ass wheights and your arms got that bigg!

  • @dellneda90 no he is just showing you perfect form an not trying to be intimidating with super heavy weights

  • Nice Muscles ! But this exercise is a classic in the fitness history ! It doesn't matter how much you lift, it matters how much times you make the series !!!

  • shit i hate those slow movement exercises i am losing intensity because of them

  • bro you are properly fit!

  • why the fk does he put his thumbs like that?

  • I have thin wrists...when i started doing this it was fine. but as the weight went up, my wrists began hurting. what do i do about this?

  • @greenfury87

maybe you are keeping your wrist too close together...this puts a lot of pressure on the wrists if your bicep isnt strong enough to solidly support the weight youre using cause theyre not in a really natural position..your hands are holding a straight bar but your forearms go in a "V-like" direction and your wrists arent parallel with your forearm...reduce the weight or try a wider grip...wrists are delicate and fragile..the last thing you wanna do is fuck em up

  • papi...you are so freakin' chulo, dayum

  • And one more thing, for all you beginners, the bicep, despite its name (bi meaning 2) actually has three oarts to it. The outer head, the inner head, and the brachii. This is the smaller muscle that sits between the bicep and the tricep in the middle of your upper arm. Work this by using any hammer, or reverse curl grips.

  • Is there anyone (besides the guy doing the video) that doesn't know that the closer your grip, you work the outer part of the biceps, and the further out you are, you are working the inner head? Simple science. Maybe "expertvillage" (hah) should do the tiniest bit of research before they post next time.

  • Well, not much strength-building going on here. He's breathing just fine and talking his way through the exercise. This is demanding little-to-no concentration for him.

  • sorry guyes but every clip i cheked from this guy has big mistakes in it. like he is doing it intentionally

  • This video almost tricked me, I had to doublecheck along the comments hehe. I knew for sure it works outer biceps, but anyway...

Well, in all years of training I have changed my exercises and schemes

way over 50 times. The latest I use and best so far (for me) is resting individual muscle 6 days. One ''muscle type'' everyday for 5 days then sixth day off, and so on.(a simple 6 days period).

Here is a tip: You don't have to lock yourself with particular week days, feel free to break the system...

  • Close grip works the outer head of the biceps :)

  • @vivalaandrew16 no hammer curls work the outer head, this does the inner part

  • @vivalaandrew16 it only proves that one does not have to have a whole lot of clue about kinesiology etc. to build a good looking physique:) There are some exercise kinesiologists on you tube who actually do not look like they have touched the weights once in their life:)

  • Thx for the advice..If i just started how much weight do you recommend to use?

  • creatine man !

  • the closer you chose the grip for this exercise the more you hit the OUTER PART ( long head ) of the Bicep -.-

  • first of all ur bicep has 3 parts not 2 garbage video

  • @Ronaldinho882 no the bicep has 2 parts only, the tricep has 3

  • his arms r sick man

  • steroid monkey

  • any body have a good shoulder workout?

  • when u do this its good to put ice on your arms & most times u train better with a friend or partner

  • what do u mean put ice on your arms?

  • @9048560 u use ice when u feel like your muscles are burning up trust me u wont be disapointed during or after your workout u just feel a gr8 relief

  • I like to work out a bit every day - is this not giving the muscle time to grow?

  • you shouldn't work out everyday, try every other day your muscles need rest for them to get bigger

  • Is there any downside to every day?

  • if you workout everyday your basically wasting your time and you wont see any improvement because when you workout your tearing your muscles down they build back up stronger when your resting.

  • Ok, so every second day per muscle group?

  • yep

  • cpthurme - Yes you arenot letting your body recover and you wil become weaker doing it everyday. Rest for at least 48 hours before doing it again if not longer.

  • I'm going to do Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Is that too frequent? Weaker everyday??

What different things can I do so I can alternate the workout everyday? Maybe work certain sections of upper body one day, then other sections the next?

  • Yes - if you want to get bigger all over work out different groups each time. Monday say arms and shoulders - weds say legs and lower body friday chest etc is a good way then you can push your max weight each time and see if you notice any differences over a few weeks.

  • Ok thanks : )

  • Welcome - good luck

  • @kingofcraig My buddy does that type of workout. He started 1 month before I did so i ended up getting into weights too. I do full body workouts everyday(except Sat and Sun cause i do no weight excersies then) but omit certain excersies each day, that way, Im not always doing the same thing. Now, I have bigger arms than my buddy, and chest too. Hes thinner than me though lol. Each workout depends on the person, and what type of body you want to acheive. Good luck everyone!

  • @Assassinrevolver you are overtraining if you are working out the same muscles everyday even if they are different workouts. you will learn the hard way. you will plateau and think you need to work even harder. then you will become weaker by the day and think you need to work even harder. its a vicious cycle and if you work out the same muscle groups everyday it will eventually get to you.

  • @aanderson66 I dunno buddy, I've gained quite a bit(1 and a half inches on my arms) in the months by doing that. Eahc day, I not only use different excersies, I use different weight amounts as well. I also have specific workouts I use for example, sat is chest and abs only while sunday is off, or body weight excersises like push ups and pullups. Ive done extensive research and have been weight lifting off and on for about 3 years, and this is the best way for me.

  • The more you lift heavy, the more rest you should take. Doing a body part once a week is common

  • Cheers mate, it seems the bodybuilders do maybe one part of the arms one day, and then another part the next.

  • after 3 months after I got after your videos have progressed thks ;)natural muscle are the best;)

  • Great, detailed post. Like the bit that stresses the importance of rushing the blood at the top of the movement - thanks for the post.

  • STOP!.....Close grip....uses....the OUTER HEAD.... wide grip is the INNER HEAD...muscles work in opposites, just google CG barbell curls and which muscle groups they target!

  • @TwoFourKingAce exactly-this juiced up geezers got it all wrong

  • hey, im 13 what weight should i use my barbell?

also whats the weight bench called behind him? thanks

  • @asimplewasteman age doesnt matter, if u havent done this before then try it out and see whats your max, this guy is obvs not even close to his max, the bar by itself is just 45lbs, so try that first, if its too easy then throw some weights on there. the bench is called inclined bench to work upper chest, and theres the declined one which works lower chest.

  • @LeBronForTheWin mabe 30 pounds?

  • dont start weightlifting when you're 13 bro, you're going to stunt your growth. Start weight training when you have stopped growing in height... You dont want to be that midget that girls dont like talking to :)

  • no mate , it dosnt stunt my and even if i did grow up to be small (which i wont) girls would still speak to me because im just ,,,, good with girls :)

  • its impossible to stunt your growth its a myth.

arnold started at 15 did he stunt his growth?

  • 15 is a good starting age, thats the age most gyms will allow you to train, i agree that stunting growth is a myth, but starting any younger can cause joint and ligament damage as the body isn't fully developed.

  • At age 13 you should focus more on cardio and small weights not big weight!

your body is to young and is not fully matured to handle massive weights

i would recamend using a weight that you can do at least 10 times. And for bench press brands i would go with a Marcy

    great stuff man! good luck!!!

  • i would recoment you do body weight training to start with, this will build some muscle mass without damaging your joints. try things like pull-ups, wide grip, neutral grip, and reverse grip. and the same with push-ups wide and close, to hit different parts of the muscles, do this untill you're atleast 15 then look into weights. look for some good tutorial vids for good form, building muscles is all about keeping good form (and eating/ sleeping plenty)

  • recommend*

  • what the fuck are you talking about? and youre as ripped as him are you?

  • haha you obviously know nothing. This guy was probably paid to do this video. its by expertvillage dumbass. almost everything he says is wrong. this exercise works the outside of your bicep, not the inside.

  • your right it does the outside of the bicep. it was just a mistake though.

  • thats what i was thinking. wide grip works the inner bicep

  • @jrpimpdog thats what i thought!

  • @jrpimpdog adjust grip

  • @jrpimpdog Absolutely! The guy is ignorant.

  • @jrpimpdog i fucking agree with you, expert village is fucking stupid this works your outer not inner...fucking giving bad info

  • Comment removed

  • WRONG..That works the outer head...

  • Oh yes, the closed grip curl, the next day you feel the burn like no other!!!!!!!!

  • hey i have a question because im doing this exercise with alot of weight and im not that ripped and i see this guy thats really ripped doing it with a little bit of weight. is it better to do it with a little bit of weight??

  • You just do it with as much weight as you can, dont worry how much your lifting, as long as your giving your muscles a workout is what matters, i'm no expert, for example i only do this one with a 35LB thing, started with a 25

  • ooh thanks alot bro good luck!
