......Targeting the 'demand' side of things is ALSO a very necessary part of the solution - the US and the UK are 2 of the primary importers of illegal wildlife for the exotic pet trade, the middle men need to be investigated just like any drug investigation would, the Malaysian government needs to start taking their responsibilities seriously and honouring their CITES treaties. The situation on the ground here (in Malaysia) is a joke as far as the government goes. Raise your voices @ the gov.
This doco is necessary but everyone must realise this is only one part of a complex issue. Targeting poachers alone has been proven to not work, even with shoot-to-kill laws, desperate people will risk their lives to feed their families. Usually indigenous, poachers are exploited just as much as the wildlife by the middle men who reap the profits....

We all need to speak out for the tigers, and all wildlife. Poaching needs to stop everywhere. Banning wildlife trade is a key part in stopping poaching. These people who kill tigers for their parts are so greedy. I am so thankful for WWF looking deeply to halt poaching in its tracks!!!!
