  • Saw them in Orlando with the love ot my life, Tina in 2009. Greatest show and birthday present ever!

  • Raw power, I love this song!

  • ahhh that's right!!!!

  • Fkn A! Love this band!!!

  • Thank you for this amazing collection. Nitzer Ebb is definitely one of the most underrated bands ever. Their caliber is really quite remarkable, i wonder why they didn't enjoy more notoriety.

  • Awesome song, especially from starting at 2:01... frantic synthetic drums and bleeps.

  • de putaa madree

  • This song made me go nuts.

  • How can there not be a good version of All Over on youtube? That's criminal. All I see is some bad live performance. Someone please upload this song.

  • This is my absolute favorite Nitzer Ebb track, and it's great for taking out some aggression on the dance floor.

  • @DJEclipseNiagara Listening to this loud makes you feel like you can take on the world. This was always my pre club and concert song to get me pumped up. It never fails. I swear this song could wake someone from a coma.

  • Ok, this is my daily visit to this song. I listen to it at least 2/3 times a day on a daily basis. Outstanding song. Thumbs up if you feel the same.

  • :28 it begins...

  • My favorite Nitzer Ebb Song of all time!

  • I saw these guys open for depeche mode in 1990.

  • danke.

    saludos

  • I remember my dad telling me to turn down my stereo when this song was on.

  • NEP rules

  • so fucking good!!!

  • HOLY COW!!!!

  • Mid 80's, Niagara Falls Canada. Walk into only record store that sold non mainstream records in the whole Niagara Peninsula. Store is playing this. Buddy buys the album. Life forever changed.

  • @Royfokker73 that was so weird to read bout the falls cuz im in st kittz, whats the chances sorry just had to say aha

  • @em1ly420 Hey my family lives there now. I'm not in the area anymore though, but hello to my fellow Canadian!

  • My brother turned me onto them in late '80's. Been fan ever since. Excellent workout music and I love the Marxist/Communist cover art.

  • This is just Beast

  • Man I saw this empty album case bought from a pawn shop a few years ago and it pisses me off so bad that all these good bands are enjoyed by everyone else and I am the last to know! Where I live most of the people here think that whats on the radio or MTV is all there is and it PISSES me of even more! I am the only one in my town who will explore past mainstream hip hop and r&b. But at least there is youtube. Nitzer Ebb is awesome just wish I had found them sooner.

  • This song takes me back to when I first saw these guys live, let alone heard them for the first time. Seeing these guys open for Depeche Mode at Red Rocks Amphitheatre back in '90 was incredible. The energy that came off their set, and the raw power this track put through the crowd was undescribable.

  • @Lucaselef, i know what your talking about...i'm 40, as a Marine, I used to jam to this before each patrol mission in Mogadishu, Somalia...made me feel indistructible..worked every time.......sigh!

  • This song is stupid

  • @violentmusical >implying you actually know what REAL music is

  • I rly dont know why they play this kind of music on goth festivals.

No offense, but this music sounds like farts + drums + vocals to me.

  • @Mephisto28890 A lot of people think synths sound like farts; once I played some of DAF (another EBM group) while around friends and they started laughing because they thought it was meant to be funny fart music.

  • @KingOfUm Your friends don't know REAL music.

  • @v73k1 Partly why they aren't my friends anymore. They're all still convinced that Trent Reznor is the pioneer of industrial music.

  • @KingOfUm Reznor pioneer of industrial? He's just a guy who is inspired by many Industrial bands before him.

Ministry,Skinny Puppy,Throbbing Gristle those are the real pioneers of industrial.

As for EBM, pioneers would definitely be Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb.

Hell, if there were no D.A.F. there would be no Nitzer Ebb.

  • @v73k1 Exactly, but most people don't realize that the music they hear on the radio isn't all the music that exists on this planet. So many people I know who claim to be fans of industrial listen only to NIN, it's embarrassing.

  • @v73k1 I'd venture to say that Reznor is responsible for a lot of the popularity of the genre. A pioneer? Sure. But not to the degree as many of those you listed. I think Reznor is frowned on a lot due to his success, but the guy is a genius with music and composition.

  • FUCK YEAH!

  • i know what you buy, but I'm not selling! - best line ever.

  • THIS IS THE SHIT!! just got to Germany the clubs better be playing some nitzer!!!

  • @henryvamp

What if they're playing Skinny Puppy instead?

  • @GWC1975

    ill be pissed!!

  • The only good thing about this band... Alan Wilder.

  • My friend and I started a group on facebook full of videos like this called The Industrial Complex. I've been making different playlists on my channel too full of different shit. Live for this!!!

  • it's like you fell pure power running thru your veins listening to this music.

  • genialllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleuer matthes fbs

  • I'm 43 now and remembered when this music was IT! This music WILL keep you young. I will go to my grave with this music in my blood! Very few bends today can PUMP IT like this.

  • @Lucaselef What would we be without EBM music?

  • @Lucaselef This one is a real killer!!!

  • @Lucaselef Amen to that! I was 23 when I first heard this. 33 now and this shit just pumps me up and gets that blood flowing. This scene is amazing.

  • @Lucaselef I'm 51 and was bouncing in a couple of clubs in Florida when this stuff was hot. I loved it...

  • memories of my clubbing days!!

  • one of best intro buildups EVER

  • @ugotpimp I can't help but agree

  • dangerous

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... classic.

  • yeah! cycling music! push /pull love the snyth

  • showwwwwwwwww !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh my god shut the fuck up!

  • i saw them open for Depeche Mode during the World Violation Tour at Dodger Stadium

    great show!

  • suPergUt

  • Depeche & Nitzer ROCKS !!!

  • I think this song is rather industrial than ebm..

  • Oh man! I want a time machine so I can go to those concerts. :(

  • excellent

  • crap just crap

  • Excellent post!

  • I got to say that it hurts!

  • industrial sucks

  • @JOESGONNAKILLY0U

    Youre a fat bitch

  • @JOESGONNAKILLY0U sucks what? your sister teet?

  • @captaindaring

    smurfs

  • @EnjoyTheSilence93 smurf's are good at sucking teets? good to know.

  • @captaindaring

    everyday you learn something new.

  • @EnjoyTheSilence93 did you see nitzer ebb open for depeche mode back in 90'?

  • @captaindaring

unfortunately i wasn't yet alive back then. ;(

  • @EnjoyTheSilence93 that would be a problem wouldn't it? sorry i didn't check your page first. nonetheless it was a great show. a little incongruous, but a must see at the time. depeche mode were on top of the world back then.

  • @captaindaring I did! That was a HELL of a show! I remember being almost diappointed when DM came on b/c the energy changed so much. Not at all saying that Nitzer Ebb is/was a better band....just that they got everyone dancing, they're obviously a lot harder. It just took a couple of songs by DM to switch gears. Regardless, one of the best shows ever!!!

  • @phedre06 i totally agree with you. i was worn out by the time DM came out. i was dripping with sweat. the energy that NE produced was frenetic. we all needed to catch our breath. thankfully DM didn't disappoint. it was one of the best shows i've ever seen. i was speechless when it was over. i think i was in a trance for the next week. that was an amazing time. what a great music scene. i also remember another great show that was sort of mismatched. it was the Sugarcubes, PIL, and.New order.

  • @captaindaring I SAW THEM BACK IN THE 90'S IN SAN DIEGO, ON THEIR VIOLATOR TOUR

  • Bättre än banankontakt

  • call it EBM if you want sounds like rock and roll to me!

  • Ooch nach reichlich Jahren immer noch ´n Burner -

  • I bought a Ford Probe when this was released;nice car and good album.

  • I've! Got! To! Pick! Up! My! Shirts!

  • jaja oh si

  • Great song! Thumbs up to a heavy hitter in industrial music.

  • YEAH!

  • Pure awesomeness

  • When the DJ wanted to get the goths off the dance floor, they would play something like this or "Join in the Chant" or Front 242.

    Worked every time!

  • This is the kind of music you would see Arnold enter a bar, butt-naked, asking for someones clothes and then breaking some bones, butt-naked. Then he would go out, get a cool bike and saying "asta la vista" to the guys around him... butt-naked. :P

  • @Energael fantastic comment!

    hhaahaha

  • is it any wonder his voice conked out after ripping these masterpieces? Glad it mostly came back ...

  • omg at 1:07 it's the "YEAH!" form rayman

  • yeah that fucking RULES!

  • AH! I miss this shit! NE killed at the clubs back in the day. Opening for Depeche Mode was a let down. DM was playing too big of arena's at the time. It didn't suit NE. To be 16 again!

  • @tdoesntmatter how old is this band cause if its as old as i think it is then thats pretty awesome

  • @isaacnelson1234 Hi Isaac. The first record "That total age" came out in 87. Those songs were played constantly at all the "alternative" clubs. The song we are commenting on came out in 1990. The album was Showtime. I pretty much lost interest after that record, but I still love hearing their older stuff!

  • @tdoesntmatter i thought it was around that time era some 80s stuff is pretty good and i love 90s 80 - 2005 ftw 2010 sucks

  • @isaacnelson1234 Some 80's stuff? The underground/alternative 80's was pure brilliance. If you liked Nitzer Ebb, go check out Skinny Puppy and Front 242. They were both great industrial bands from the 80's into the early 90's. My pizza's burning.

    cheers

  • Fu

    King

    Rocks!

  • gives me goosebumps.

  • I love this song! However, it is NOT safe for driving in heavy traffic.....

  • At the begining of the song it sounds like there were guitar riffs, but actually is the sound of a DOG BARKING but in a very slow loop motion. I read this in an article of the realease for the "AS IS" EP where Bon explained how was the creation process of the "getting closer" song.

  • awesome song...

  • leaves a bitch breathless...

  • This is my all time faveourite NE tune.. Fuck..it's so great.

  • I found this song back in 92', on a mixed cassette along with many industrial classics.

Tit Wrench and Frontline Assembly were on it as well.

  • They were warming up Depeche mode at Helsinki, i havent heard about the band before that evening, but after few songs, i was so impressed that Nitzer Ebb did 'become' one of my favorit bands! This some album version? they sound even better playing live!

  • Then you may also like Die Krupps and Front 242.

Nitzer Ebb worked with die krupps.

  • @Legendfin Yeah I saw Nitzer Ebb open up for Depeche Mode back in 89-90.... I liked Nitzer Ebb ALOT more than Depeche Mode and let me just tell you that they put on such an awesome and powerful show opening up with this track " Getting Closer" (which by the way is def one of my favs because the way the song starts off is soo intense with the drums and vocals)... They are supposed to be here in Dallas soon next month I'm going YAY!!!!!!

  • @Legendfin

haha had something same like you - was on Depeche Mode "Black Celebration" Gig in Hamburg and there they were.... and i was like (sorry for that ;-) ) : "Fcuk Depeche Mode - from now on i listen to this!...."which later lead me to techno stuff.....- Still like a few song from NEBB

  • @Legendfin

Same here...saw them with DM on the Violator Tour! They were awesome!

  • @Legendfin

They opened for Depeche in the USA on the "Violator" tour also. i loved their opening performance in Cincinnati, OH at Riverbend in 1990.
