I bet i would be sad if i played this like when i played Red Dead Redemption. @TheDezembro Christ, you sound as if Rockstar kill off protagonists nearly all the time. They only did it once with Red Dead Redemption; Team Bondi made LA Noire, Rockstar only published and distributed it.

On top of that, the deaths of both of those characters were entirely relevant to the storyline and character developments. John died for the freedom and safety of his family, Cole died to save his friends, which was closure for his mistakes in WWII and thus we sympathise with him more.
