The music that was mixed with Massive Attack's Superpredators in "The Jackal" (1997) is a russian traditional revolutionary song called Varchavianka. In some places it may be spelled Varshavianka, Warchavianka or Warshavianka. It used to be sung by the Red Army Choir.

I agree that the film (while having some faults) was very good, but the 1973 version was better done. Also the '73 version fit better into actual historical context.
