Just to clear things up, injector o-rings leaking oil into the cylinders after 14 years and 148,000 miles is why it smoked and started hard. Not every diesel smokes like this and it wasn't a glow plug issue. If I can build this thing wouldn't you think I could fix a glow plug issue? Wasn't worth tearing down to put o-rings in for how often it was used

It seams as if it is having starting issues, like bad fuel or it needs glow plugs

@7302powerstroke he said cold start dude...meaning the plugs werent warmed first and it wasnt plugged in so it was a cold motor
