Every Dr. admits that syphilis drove people crazy throughout history,so why not LD?Many inconsistencies in this report-the worst being this Dr saying long term antibiotics don't work-they do very often cure people and most other times greatly improve people's quality of life.She probably meant to sat they don't always help if she treats people but that was a bad "slip"!And it would be nice if they did not always have to have some idiot Dr. saying LD is no big problem!!

We need to investigate WHY THE IDSA POSTED GUARDS at the door to block years of Lyme disease research and evidence being entered into criteria for determing "Standards of Care" used by Insurance companies to determine the appropriate treatment for Lyme. Can anyone explain the morality of that to me?

@seraVmiskiel How about reading the Final Report of the Lyme Disease Review Panel before you go making wild accusations. It's available on the IDSA website. They considered everything, 1,025 sources total. What "research and evidence" exactly did they leave out?

Doctors dismissed me saying it was menopause, the infection affected my brain, I had the paralysis in my left side of the face, plus all the horrors of a neurological infection; Ciprofloxacin and Bactrim and Flagyl helped me, but the best medicine has been Ivermectine it is antiparasitic and it does the miracle after having such advanced infection. We have a FB Lyme Disease group and just this week three young beautiful women died from Lyme Disease, if this is not a huge statistic tell me what is? This disease is devastating! Stop denying it, dismissing it, it is already a plague!!!!

The personality changes if not treated properly nor thoroughly because the brain is infected, like leaving someone with syphilis or malaria untreated or under-treated.

Doctors say there is no Lyme in Florida so they don’t treat nor test; treatments are denied all over the country and people is not treated on time nor long enough to clean the infection. Yes symptoms like swollen glands show the infection is attacking the lymphatic system, meaning the bugs are devouring the thyroid, the heart, and the other glands of the neck, brain and body.

But to everyone please be aware It is not just personality change, it is all the body infected and not only by the spirochete but also parasites similar to malaria going to the brain, the heart, the muscles and bones!
