  • Oh look, the little baby doesn't want to have to go through the simple task of jumping on stuff and actually DOING SOMTHING IN ORDER TO BE GOOD AT THE GAME...oh well,I need to control my retro obsession.Decent review anyway.

  • @SuperAwesomeTiago This review was posted a while ago, my opinions of the games have changed. I really like Advance if I'm in a Classic feeling but if I want some faster gameplay I would go with Advance 2.

  • could I have sonic advance 3

  • man fuck that tamagochi shit they should've kept the original diamond minigames

  • ham. nice review little dude.

  • Are these better than the game gear sonics

  • how do you get a chaos emrelds in sonic advance 1

  • SssSssonic AdvancCCcccCce

  • my fave is the second

  • how was springs stopping you a problem?

  • @scaii100 how original

  • Very good review.

  • For someone that likes the 'Sonic advance' series, good lord why have you not beaten Sa3?

  • R.I.P. Stunts in Sonic Portables. 2003-2007

  • amys in sonic advance 2 unlock her beat the game with all chaos emeralds

  • okay just to ask a quaestion can you delete your progress in any of these because im think ing about getting a used one since i cant find a new one for a reasonable price

  • in sonic advance one i like that you have to acctually JUMP on the springs.

it gives it that classic feel

  • i love how when THQ DID sonic advanced 2 EVERYONE LOVED IT then sega did sonic advanced 3 lol

  • SA2>SA3>SA1

  • The foot guard idea isn't original though. The classic Sonic games never had that.

  • i have sonic battle

  • Sonic advance 3 My first game for GBA :D

Collected all chao,6 emeralds, but the last emerald is hard to get =(

  • i like sonic advance 1 better because its the perfect blend of speed and platforming since sonic 3 and knuckles. It stays true to the original sonic games. And its your least favourite sonic game on the GBA? play sonic the hedgehog genesis

  • @manfandan Oh i've played Sonic Genesis on GBA. It SUCKS. It's an insu;t to the original greatness we have on the Sega Genesis

  • Sonic has more good games than bad, people forget this and shit on the Blue Hedgehog way too much.

  • Personally, my ratings for the games would be this:

    SA1 = 7/10

    SA2 = 9/10

    SA3 = 9.5/10

Sonic Advance 3 being a personal favourite of mine of the whole trilogy.

  • 9 out of 10 for Sonic Advance 2? Seriously? The game literally plays itself, it's shit. A piece of electrical tape over the right part of the D-Pad could complete this game.

  • @TornadoCreator That would be instant suicide then.

SA2 requires more skill & timing than just holding right - try that in Egg Utopia Zone.

  • @HyperShan3

Egg Utopia is the final zone of the game, it's supposed to be hard. My point is, for the first two zones, you can complete the levels while barely pressing any buttons which makes the game feel uninteractive. There's no challenge, no gameplay, it's too simple and pathetically contrived all to make it seem fast, which feels fake because of the lack of challenge. Compare the original Green Hill Zone with the first zone of SA2. There are FMV games with more interacting than SA2.

  • @TornadoCreator Personally, I feel more attracted to SA2 more than Sonic 1 due to it's extreme speed & stunt gameplay, which at the same time is pretty simple to play at times.

For me, I don't care if I had to just hold the right/left D-pad button at certain times, I was enjoying all the loops, mid-air stunt commands & building up momentum to break the sound barrier & watch Sonic & co. blast off in all direction.

  • @HyperShan3

Fair enough, but that's not a game. I can understand people wanting speed in a Sonic game, but if you want speed play Sonic 2 on the Mega Drive/Genesis and compare. It requires some skill to play that game, but it's not very hard. I completed it when I was 8 years old. Sonic Advance 1 was OK, but Sonic Advance 2 was an insult to Sonic fans. There's a reason most Sonic fans ignore the GBA games...basically, it's not stunt gameplay if the game plays itself, it's just a QTE cutscene.

  • amy still in advanced 2 oh wait the person below my already pointed dat out oh well

  • @funnyjunk64 i ment above

  • 8/10 + 9/10 + 7/10 = 24/30

  • My Ranking:

1st: Sonic Advanced-perfect blend of speed and platforming

2nd:Sonic Advanced 3-strange act selection, and not enough platforming

3rd:Sonic Advanced 2-way too fast and easy, almost no platforming

  • Amy wasn't tooken out

first get all chaos emeralds on all 4 characters deafeat ex boss then you onlock amy

  • hot crator is my fav zone and music eggman the boss is my fav too

  • Thanks for the reviews! I love these games :)

  • great review subbed

  • Amy wasn't replaced by Creme in Sonic Advance 2... You unlock her by beating the game with all emeralds with all the characters. Pretty lame in my book, because I don't like Amy as it is, but regardless, you can still play as her in the second game. Very detailed review, nice job.

  • @darthlink44 Cream*, my bad.

  • all three of these games should be remade on the wii and when u said sonic can do stunts when launched in the air i would call that a sweep attack or cut since it kills enemys

    ps write back

  • you rock man

  • Great review man :).

  • Thank you!

  • No prob :).

  • Nice detailed review.

  • Thanks!

  • Aww man I miss my Sonic advance my douchebag friend borrowed it and lost it and I was close to unlocking moon zone. I love playing with the choas thing.
